Because of this thread, I started signing up for sweepstakes using online-sweepstakes.com. Well, it paid off b/c after entering a contest ONCE (from AMF Bowling Centers), I won a $200 Brookstone gift card!!!

I won $500 in wedding supplies (unity candle, garter, guest book etc) from a bridal website before I got married by entering online every day for about two months.

I also won tickets to see Barney on the radio.

This thread makes me want to enter more contests. You guys are lucky!

About 15 years ago I won $5000 from Proctor and Gamble. I had some scope labels and crest toothpaste boxes left over from saving them for a basketball and saw another promotion from P&G called home for the holidays. I sent off for the coupon book and really did not see the sweepstakes. I also got $50 from listerine...a call in thing about 10 years ago.

I love that site its free... The key to winning is entering every single day if its allowed.have to be persistent. i recommend roboform to fill the sweeps faster.

Back in the late '80s, a friend and I went to see one of those horrible horror movie sequels - Nightmare on Elm St. part something or other - and although the movie was forgettable, they were running some sort of mail-in promotion to win a trip to the Six Flags park of your choice for their Freddy Kruger haunted house at Halloween. My friend and I sent in a handful of postcards - and we won!! Because of the time of year, we chose Six Flags over Georgia in hopes of having good weather. We each got our own suite, two days worth of passes to the park, and even $100 for food and souvies. It was very cool.

I posted on the CB Board, but I just won 2nd place in the Disney The Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian Sweepstakes. The grand prize was 150 tickets for a youth group to see the movie. My prize was a leather photo alblum, but its just black pages like a scrapbook and no plastic to insert pictures into. It is well made though. Its my lst win so far this year. I too use sweepsadvantage and online-sweepstakes etc.

I won last year the trip to Hawaii from Last Minute Travel. I paid for airfare, but we got a week in a condo on the shore. LOVED it! We turned it into a 10-day vacation.

I'd glad this was bounced up. I need to join more sweeptakes this year.

I was awarded with a trip to Hilton Head for a promotional program I designed and administered. Not really a sweepstakes win but it was a great win.

In 2000 I won a three day trip to Los Angeles to see a movie Premier - it was awesome. It included airfare, luxury hotel, transportation and food/drinks at the after-party.

I've won movie tickets, free meals, tickets to amusement parks and some small things.

The real problem - it has been years since I've won anything significant. I wanna be a winner again!
