My sister and her family are going to Orlando in October and would like to rent a car seat for her 2 year old.

An internet search turned up Orlando Crib Rental which is apparently less expensive than other rental options. Please share your experience with Orlando Crib Rental.

Thanks

Hey there!

I've never used Orlando Crib Rental, so I can't speak to what they're like... but I'm curious --- are you renting a car? Because I've had no issues with the car seats rented thru car rental places... especially for a toddler.

Otherwise, I dunno! ;)

I don't know the comparative rates, but my sister told me that Orlando Crib Rentals rates were significantly less than the car rental rates. OCR will apparently deliver the seat to the hotel.

It's not my decision, but personally I'd just rent from the car company. I'm a big fan of one-stop shopping!

We have three children ages three and younger, so we need THREE car seats when we travel. Though it is a little inconvenient, we check our carseats through baggage check at the airport. Airlines do not charge to check carseats or strollers. Car seat rental through the car rental companies tends to be approximately $10+ per day plus tax.

Another thing to remember: If you are a AAA member, your carseat rental through a car rental company will probably be free.
