I think you're right. I was shocked to hear one had been cancelled already. Now, I know it's very expensive, and it's US, but I really think that for all the extras you are getting and the things you can't buy we get to do, that this would be a popular tour. The things that are offered on the DVC trip that I don't believe are offered on the regular trip that I will really miss are the Archive visit and the DVC presentation, and that will probably deal alot with the Grand Califonian Villas (duh..since it's in California..can't fool me)

Price does seem to be the hangup for many people even though you get to see some amazing things which is why we want to do it so badly. I wish that they had been able to get the price closer to $1600 per person, bookings may have been much better especailly for those that are booking a family. It still looks amazing!!

Auburn is a pretty big campus, so chances are, I won't know the student.

It just seems like violence/murder on college campuses is becoming the new thing. I hope this is the end of it.

When I saw the ad with the "Disney Files" yesterday, I was sad! I would LOVE a trip like that!!! DH loves backstage tours and learning about behind the scenes things. The problem is, I'm a teacher and it seems like every time they offer some really cool Disney thing like that (or Members' Cruise, Podcast Cruise, etc.) it's during the school year which prohibits me from going. I realize and totally understand that they need to do these type of things during the "off-season", but it can still be frustrating for those of us with fixed vacation times.

Regarding points, I'm booked on the Aug 12 tour. I used my bonus booking points plus borrowed some. For 2 adults, with early booking, it cost me 696 points plus a $75 admin fee. Hope this helps!
