HM is open!! My 4 yr dd's fav, rode 4 times.

The HM in WDW does not get done over like the one in Disney World, there is no Nightmare before Christmas themeing.

It was supposed to be done like Calif this year, all part of the 50th celebration.

I do not think this was done, the HM in Disneyland is changed over starting in October, there was nothing on any of the other websites, like Doombuggies.com that the HM in WDW was to be changed over as well. All indications are that it was just closed for a minor rehab

No, it is not decorated for Christmas.

It was supposed to be done like Calif this year, all part of the 50th celebration.

Not so, the NBC makeover has not been planned for WDW this year. The rehab earlier in November was just a regular technical rehab.

I was just over on the rumors board and they were saying it was closed for repairs(load belt?) and it could be down for several months? They also said that wdw was tring to run it in slow mode and it was messing up all the timing for the music and automation? anyone know if this is true?

We rode the HM this week. It's not decorated for Xmas (no NBC theme) but it's running at its usual speed.

We were at the MK this past Monday and Wednesday nights. On Monday night it was closed for tech. issues when we made our way over to ride it between 8 and 9pm. On Wednesday night it was up and running and we rode the HM. It was at regular speed and not decorated for Xmas.

We were able to experience the HM at DL decorated for the holidays this past October. While it was quite a different and awesome ride with the NBC themeing, I would have liked to seen the original ride on our one and only DL trip. With that being said, the themeing is much less scarier and real eye candy. But I can't imagine how many hours were necessary to completely revamp just about everything to make it NBC! WOW!
