Hate rollercoaster but I am ok on Star Tours will I like Spiderman?

OP: You'll be fine on Spider-Man if you can handle Star Tours.

To take this topic a step further, would someone who hates rollercoasters but likes Star Tours be okay on the Mummy, or does that one cross the line into coaster territory?
Mummy is a roller coaster, but the coaster section is short (total of 30 sec, max). It's not much more than Space Mountain (dark, some hills, 45mph)

I'd compare Spiderman more closely to Dinosaur at AK than Star Tours.

My biggest problem with Spiderman was at one point the ride vehical starts to spin. I get motion sickness from spining (no tea cups for me, I even have to close my eyes when moving on the Toy Story shooting gallery ride at WDW) and I wasn't prepared for it, but once I realized we were spining I closed my eyes and I was fine. Wish I'd had a heads-up on that part though!

Thanks for all of the advice! :yay: I actually enjoy roller coasters but my husband hates drops (except little ones like on POC or Maelstrom at Disney) so I'll have to keep thinking about Mummy.

Mummy's biggest drop is only 26 ft, which is SMALL for a coaster. Compare that to JP (81) or Ripsaw (75) or Rockit (over 150) or Hulk (over 100) and it's not even much. :goodvibes

And honestly, If he can handle Space mountain or POC, he can probably handle Mummy's drop. It's really not that bad of a drop.

I'm surprised that you are okay with spinning with your eyes closed. My nonverbal son gets motion sickness with spinning, and I think closing his eyes is a recipe for disaster.

Yeah I don't get it either, but my brain must think "if I can't see it, it's not happening!". Works for me though, it opens up a lot more rides to me that way!
