Has Frontier ever been a participating airline?

I thought they had been. But they're not now. Am I crazy? I was looking forward to checking our bags at the resort. When we flew Southwest, they didn't participate. And now that SW does, we're flying a different airline. Should we try to get a boarding pass printed at the resort? Or just wait until we get to the airport?
