Hearing SimbaNoodle's story about seeing Mike Hampton in the pool at OKW made me wonder. Has anyone ever seen anyone famous just sitting around a DVC pool or staying there. If so who was it??? I wonder if there is any famous DVC members???

In November 2002, we saw Eric Estrada (CHiPs) at SAB. Since this is not an exclusive DVC pool, I can't say if he is a DVC member.

I have read that Demi Moore, Bruce Willis & family have been spotted at SAB as well as AKL.

A few years ago we saw Mike Eruzione (sp?) from the USA Olympic hockey team sitting by the BWV pool. The irony is he lives a few towns over from us so of all the 'celebrities' to see - he wasn't such a big deal.

There have been A LOT of sports people!

These sightings all occurred many many moons ago.

The Super Hoopers too! Many times! (If you dont know these wonderful people, hopefully you'll run into them someday. They are always in the Vacation Magic. Very friendly!)

I bet OKW is a popular celeb place because of the large suites. I wonder if a celeb who requests a GV can do so before our 11 mo window?

There was a thread here a few months ago, where someone reported seeing Vince Neil & the rest of Motley Crue (sp?) at BCV.

A few years back we were staying at WL (not VWL), and the bellman told us Gloria Estafan (again, sp?), was staying in one of the suites. (though I'm not sure why she would stay at a "less deluxe" )

My sister was there several years back, and she said Princess Diana was staying at the GF. She said they moved an entire floor of guests to accommodate her.

PS- Who is Mike Hampton?

We saw Drew Carey at WDW a little more than a year ago. I can't tell you where he was staying as we kept seeing him in the parks.

My daughters have seen the Backstreet Boys at SAB a couple years ago. My husband and I saw Julia Roberts there a few years ago too. I never realized how skinny she was till I saw her in person.

Hi Folks...I was just catching up on all the posts here on the board (joining DVC hopefully this week!). Jennybobenny - I used to work with Mike Eruzione! hahaha! I went to BU and worked at the Alumni Office while I was there. His office was next to the office I worked in so I saw him everyday. That was him at BWV - I remember the day he left because I was so jealous!!! I never really thought of him as a celebrity, so it's funny to hear him called that - then again, he was quite the celebrity at work last year, as he was the one chosen to light the Olympic torch in Salt Lake City.

As far as seeing celebrities - I saw Hulk Hogan one year and my relatives saw the cast of Full House when they were taping their Disney World episodes. They were staying at the Beach Club. Seems like a lot of celebrities stay there...
