Hi all!

I LOVE this DISign that everydaymathchick made for our ladies trip :worship: , but I was wondering if anyone has made this Tink into a tee yet? If so, what color tee did you use? Will this look good on a white tee? I've never done these before so I am clueless what looks good and what doesn't.
Anyone care to share some advice as to what color tees we should use with a DISign like this. Also if anyone has made this into a tee and has pics can you please, pretty please share them???? Thank you soooooo much. I really appreciate any help. :)

I haven't made it in to a tee shirt but i think it will look really good on a White tee shirt, have fun on your trip. Do you have a TR going??

I made it into a tee but I didn't use one with the border.

Here's mine:

This is on a white shirt using a light transfer. I used hotfix crystals on the name. This shirt turned out the best of all the shirts I did. :goodvibes

No TR yet. We aren't leaving until March of '09, but there are about 50 of us going so there will be a TR or ten, lol, afterwards for sure.
We had a mini meet with a few of the ladies in October and this is the link to our planning thread on the DL board with some pics and slideshows from the April Girls Only trip: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1993145

It's open to anyone who wants to take a Girls Only trip to Disneyland!

So cute!!! Joanna, everyone has loved your DISign. They are all super excited to wear them in March. How does it feel to know you'll have almost 50 DISers walking around wearing your work on their chest?? :rotfl2:
So do you think it would look better without the border? :confused3

Almost 50?! :grouphug: That's so insane and so awesome! :cutie: It always amazes me to think other people are wearing my work all over DW. :cloud9: I'm not going to January, but a lot of my designs have already been there. I'm so glad everyone loves the DISign. Please take a picture of ya'll wearing it and post it when you return! That would rock! :thumbsup2

I personally like it with or without the border. I think it looks more like something you'd buy in a store without the border, but with the longer phrase on yours the border really adds a nice look to it. Just know the more "rectangular" a design is, the more obvious it is if it's not perfectly straight; although I did a ton of rectangular designs on my shirts (and used a ruler), and they turned out great. So yeah, either way. lol. How's that for arguing both sides? :lmao: Let me know if you want a version with the border removed. :cool2:

Actually, we'll be wearing them all over Disneyland, so soon you'll have had your designs on the east and west coasts. LOL ;)

If you could make one without the border, just for comparison that would be great. Thank you! And we will definitely be taking pics with the tees on. :thumbsup2

I tried to post this last night and it said the the DIS was down. :confused3

Wow... it's sweeping the nation! :rotfl:

You're lucky. I still had the design open in photobucket. Here ya go.

Thank you Joanna!!! I will let the ladies decide which they prefer. I appreciate all your work and let you know how it all turns out. :goodvibes

I put a green (like in Tink's dress) border on mine and put them on both blue and pink shirts. I made them for my daughter and her friend last minute during a sleepover. Pink and blue were just the colors I had laying around. I liked the blue one a lot.

Thanks Joanna for sharing this beautiful design/graphic with us!

Sorry the picture is so blurry! But it gives you the idea!

Thank for sharing that pic! They came out really nice. It is such a cute design. I can't wait to wear it!! :yay:

I used a purple shirt with a Tink design on the front and back. I had the Tink star on front and this Tink design on the back (without a border). I chose purple because it matched the purple star design.

Here is the front. I used purple fabric paint to outline the star:

Here is the back. I used green fabric paint to outline her dress. The fabric paint all came off when I washed it, doesn't stick well to the slick transfer, so don't try that at home!!

Hmmm, that could work too.

Thanks for all the input everyone! :)

Joanna, quick question for ya! We decided to go without the border for our tees. But I'm wondering if you think the last line will get "lost" on the shirts since it's smaller (seems lighter too)? :confused3 Is there a way to make it the same size as the first line and still fit, or can that not be done? Maybe if it just said DIS Divas Do It Again, would it fit then?

Thanks again for any input you have. :)

Yeah I made it a smaller font, but it's the same color. Let me play with it... without the border makes it easier to enlarge. How about one of these? The last one has the font the same size, but I had to smush it a little.

Does one of those work better? :)
