You would really do that? Don't go if you can't afford to without lying. What are you teaching your children?
Yep, be careful. You are new here so you should know this is one of the biggest things that upsets people.
We went just before our DD15 was 3, and I was nervous because she was big for her age so I had her birth certificate with me just in case. While we were never asked for it, at least once (that I remember) they asked her how old she was. She was able to answer truthfully because she was not quite 3, but had she not been I wouldn't think she would lie and say 2, once she turned 3 she was way too proud and excited to say 2 anymore. You need to be prepared for them to ask (I hear it happens a lot more now,) and to get charged for him.
I'm just not sure why folks have to get rude & snooty & even ugly when they answer these questions.
personally I wouldn't lie because I'm a bad liar. and if we ate at buffets I'll probably just say hey my son doesn't eat much can he just eat off my plate...if they say no..then I'll have no choice but to pay for him...I'm sure many of people do it especially at 3yrs old...I would just save up the money and go when you have it.
The OP is just sad - and a reflection of what is wrong with society. Corporations do not exist without the people (stockholders) that own them. So, yes, everytime you steal from a corporation you are, in fact, stealing from a person.
To why I quoted the above person, after your post and the posts of others on this thread, I'm starting to worry that people will think I am a liar like the OP. We are going to Disney in a couple of weeks with my DDs who are 2 1/4 and 5 months. DD who is 2 is the size of an average 4 year old and lately when anybody asks her how old age is she says 3! For whatever reason, she just will not say she is 2. Looks like I may just have to carry her birth certificate in my pocket so that it is easily accessible.
No that is not stealing. I did not bag my own groceries someone else did. I did not notice i had the other woman's bag until I was home and i was not walking back out in the snow to hand them over a bag of groceries. I charged it to the game thanked the lord for my freebies and moved on .

Lord, you've got to be a troll, right?![]()

I just asked if anyone has done it I didnt ask anyone to question my morals or decision about it. At the end of the day if im going to do than ill do it if im not than I wont and i already said im not doing it simply because i dont want to do disney twice in one year but im sure the posts will keep coming attacking me .

I'm NOT saying it's the right or honest thing to do, BUT is Disney going to go bankrupt if one (it's not like they can do it every year - the kid's only 3 once!) of their customers who I'm sure will spend waaay more than $300 on merchandise and food gets to save a couple of bucks just this one year? Please say I have no morals - I really don't care. I don't have ANY kids - so I pay full price - but if I had a 3 year old - I would probably say the same thing. Disney is expensive as it is. As much as I LOVE it - I have to say it can get pretty expensive especially when you add a couple of kids to the mix. Last August we brought my 2 nephews (12 + 13) with us and spent over 8k (this was NOT in a Disney resort!!!)! When just the two of us go - we spend maybe 3k. Almost triple what we spend alone! My sister can't even think of it with her 4 kids. I feel terrible. They should really make it more affordable and then people wouldn't resort to lying!
I read someones post that said "it's like stealing someone's bag", but in all reality that would mean Disney charging us $45 for a stuffed animal that they paid $1.95 for in China is pretty much the same thing ( I work in imports trust me). And YES in this economy that $300 might mean a LOT more to her than we think.
So NO I do not think it's the end of the world. I say do your thing and save your $300 this year cuz next year you won't have a prayer in the world if your kid is that big already, LOL
