Have any of you done a quit claim with a DVC contract? Did MS do the paper work for this? Thanks for any information.

DVC will not get directly involved in this. Your choices are to do a deed yourself or pay to have one done. That's true for a Warranty Deed or a Quit Claim deed. If it's a family transfer or the like, a quit claim deed is likely sufficient. For anything else, get a regular deed. Don't forget you'll still need to file the original along with the ORIGINAL Waiver of ROFR from Disney. It's not that complicated a process, you just need to do some leg work, phone calls and paperwork.

A quitclaim deed is a legal document that releases a person's claim or interest in a property of specific real property and passes it to another person. This type of writing, however, provides no guarantee as to the rights of the person who receives and makes no warranty that the person owns anything.

I'm sure you realize the last post on this thread was 8 years ago. My stance on the subject has changed somewhat though.
