Has anyone done a community candle lighting ceremony?

We are looking at involving our guests in our unity candle ceremony. Basically, the officiant (my brother-in-law who will be ordained online) will light one candle of a guest on my side and one candle on the groom's side. Then, each guest will light his/her candle from the person next to them. Our mothers will be the last people to have their candles lit, and then we will light ours from them and then light the unity candle. There are only two kids coming to the wedding, and one of them could safely do it.

Do you think this is doable, or will the WP end up going up in flames?

Any other ideas for involving guests in something like this?
