Has anyone been affected by Southwest's computer issues?

I mean in the last two days...not with Southwest' computer system in general.

We're flying to MCO on Thursday afternoon and I'm getting nervous. This is a 9 day vacation for a family of 4 and we have a lot of stuff, so we have to check bags. We discussed waiting one more day to see how things play out and then possibly sending our luggage via Fed Ex, which I suspect would cost us a billion dollars. I just wanted to see if anyone has dealt with this headache in the last couple of days and how it turned out for you (especially if you checked bags) or if anyone had any thoughts on what you'd do in our situation.

FWIW, we'd be checking two full size suitcases which typically weigh in around 45 pounds and since Southwest flies your bags for free, we also typically check a third roller bag that technically could go in the overhead compartment.

I couldn't check in online for my flight last night, but luckily, I'm A-list and had paid for Early Bird Check In for my daughter. When we used the kiosk at the airport, we got A22 and A37, so that all seemed to work fine. The lines were not long at all last night, even to check bags. My flight was delayed an hour, though.

We flew Friday and Sunday. Sunday they were having significant problems but the bags made it OK. The check in kiosks for baggage were working fine. We had EBCI too so that was not an issue either. Printed boarding passes Saturday night with no problems.

This is encouraging. I'm glad your travel wasn't badly affected.

Thank you!

We did EBCI for everyone, so luckily we don't have to worry about checking in. I always print the BPs at home and then just drop our bags, so this is encouraging, too. Thanks!
