Has a commercial ever backfired and made you NOT want to buy a product??

I swear by all that is holy, I will NEVER buy a Herbal Essence product based SOLELY on their commercials!!! I cannot stand those commercials!! (insert puking smiley!!)

So, am I the only one, or do you have a commercial that turns you OFF of a product????

The current Dairy Queen commercial for the brownie blizzard stuff. Thanks to their commercial every time I think of the "treat" I imagine my tongue caught in the beaters of a hand mixer. No thanks.

That is so funny because as soon as I saw your post I thought the same thing. That is the only product that I refuse to buy. I can't stand it and think it is just plain stupid!

V-8 Splash. A couple of years ago they had a commercial with the kids spitting it at one another. I thought that was such a nice thing to show children.

The Toyota one that's on now. Ask me about my T O Y O T A. They always put it on around supper time which is the one time of the day I don't have access to the remote mute button.

Sunny Delight - "I'm touching you. I'm...touching...you!" I keep hoping that his sister will smack him upside the head.

Geico - I'm sick of the bad news/good news commercials

I HATE that commercial. It's to the point I want to write to VO5 and tell them how stupid it is. I've done it before with ads I can't stand. Killer hair - Ba Dum Bum .... kill that ad!

Toyota - great cars, annoying ads.

I refused to buy Dove deodorant when they came out with their first ads. They were all women who were "freaked out" that their deodorant didn't work and wanted pretty armpits.
