Has a commercial ever backfired and made you NOT want to buy a product??

I HATE the commercial where the tour guide is in front of the Mona Lisa - but talking about smile/teeth of some bimbo in the tour group. I can not reach for the remote fast enough to change the channel. Muting is not good enough, I don't want to even SEE the 'googleing' that goes on (my appologies to Google).

DH and I hate, hate, hate...did I say hate? their TV and radio ads with real situations. Usually some loudmouth person locked out of their car then thanking profusedly afterwards.

(2) The one where they have the women singing about the scooter to the music of the "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company C". Where is that gag me smilie when you need it.

Another Quizno here! I also boycotted Gap when they were running the Madonna adds...I was a huge fan growing up in the 80s...but now...Please...Esther??? I actually wrote them a letter and refused to go in there till the ad stopped airring...and I live in the GAP!! I'm sure there are more I just can't think of!!!

Lamisil. When that fungus flips up the toenail it just totally grosses me out. Always change the channel when I see it coming on.

I think one of those ONSTAR commercials someone locked there KID in the car....whats up with that and why air it on national radio...

It was a baby-I thought most new cars have a feature , that if the key is still in the car (or ignition) you can't lock the door(??)

The lady says something like "We've talked with mom's all over the country to develop this great new snack." Oh give me a break! The last thing this mom needs is more CRAP for her child to eat. The On-Sar one I hate is the one where the lady is following her husband who just drove into a body of water. HELLLOOOO! Get out & try to help him - don't just sit there talking to the On-star dude.
