Sorry about the delay in continuing - we have all had the flu and been out of action! Anyway back to business!
Day 5 Shopping, shopping and more shopping! Sorry no pictures of today I dont think.
After the excitement of yesterday we decided that we would have a day of shopping and take it easy for the day. Mom had come out with the worst cold known to man actually I think she caught it from DH and therefore it was the worst strain of Man Flu ever!!
We had a leisurely breakfast at home and Mom and Dad decided that they were going to rest by the pool for the day and mom was going to dose up on vit c and try to get well again. Harley seemed better today and his cheeks werent quite as red as they were.
We started off at Mall of Millenia we had about 2 hours here purchases were made at Yankee Candle, Abercrombie and Fitch ( which has a rather nice looking half naked man wandering around its doorway
), and Hollister. The Christmas display in the centre of the mall was so lovely. We didnt have the camera with us though so no piccies I am afraid.
Next we decided to go off to the Premium Outlets, but it was so busy there that there wasnt a parking space to be had anywhere! We ended up parking in the McDonalds over the road and walking in. There were a lot of cars strewn all over the place and people were parking on the grass verges and stuff, seeing as they were very wet some were having difficulty in actually getting their cars off them! I told DH in no uncertain terms that we were not parking on the grass knowing our luck the car would have sunk by the time we got back!
I bought quite a bit of swag from Tommy Hilfiger it was so cheap! Then we wandered round for a while not really buying as the lines were so long for the tills but we made mental notes of what we wanted to get on our next trip back when it was a bit quieter.
After shopping we decided to grab a burger at McDs and then popped in to Walmart for something for tea. We rang Mom and Dad to see if they had eaten and then went back for dinner.
Dh had bought the new Pixar version of Monopoly so everyone took park in a greatly competitive game of that and DH who usually buys up the whole board then fleeces you to get a property got greedy and ended up bankrupt! It was hilarious. The kids went off to bed with their bottles of milk at about 9pm. We have now moved the mattress into our room and Shelby is sleeping on that with the Minnie Duvet cover. Harley, as usual is quite happy to sleep where ever you put him and went off quite happily in the travel cot.
Mom seems quite bad and is sniffing and coughing lots I am praying that I dont get the lurgy!! Dad and Lou have also had it but not as bad I dont think they apparently had the flu jab so maybe that helped. Mom cant b/c of medication that she is on so thats a bummer.
At about 11pm we decided a dip in the pool was in order! Then it was off to bed.
