Still trying to catch up with Work and DIS.

We had a very big very white christmas in Maine.
One day it snowed 2 feet.
We stay in and made a gingerbread house that day.
And Santa was quite good to me -
So he must not have been watching me on the DIS.

I posted somewhere that Scott made a batch of gingerbread men for me while I was at work on Christmas Eve after I decided I didn't have the time to make them. He's awesome.

And Santa came through for us too. Tickets to see Billy Joel & Elton John in concert next March, and the Rosetta Stone language software for Levels one and Two of French.

We had lots of snow here too. Portland is not ever prepared for snow. I stayed home from work for almost two weeks...practically everything shut down: Schools, mail delivery, shops...It was nice in a way but also very tiring to get around.

I made lots of bread-cranberry pecan wheat bread, cheese and sausage bread, and french loaves.

Desserts included peanut butter cookie sandwiches, peppermint patties and pots-de-creme: chocolate and butterscotch.

And I wonder why my pants are snug...

great concert - and I don't even much care for Billy.

Yep. I saw them together on thier first tour together. It was awesome.

This will be my fourth time to see Billy Joel and second to see Elton John.

It's Scott's first time to see either of them.
