Hannah Montana Rules the World! TONS OF PICS, UPDATE 11/1!

Hi Pierre.

Nice to hear from you and get your likes of the trip. I agree about the beer or maybe chilled white wine(my choice) on the busses.

Your wife did an incredible job with your families report. Looking forward to reading more in the future.

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:
I just read your whole trip report today! Now you know why I didn't clean my house or make dinner today either. That is the funniest thing I ever read. Anyway I feel your pain on the pirate cruise meltdown, been there a few times on our trip 10 days ago. Anway sad your trip report is over but it was damb fun to read! I have to ask which resort did you like better POFQ or CBR? I'm looking into a mod for next trip, but don't tell my kids because they will cry if they find out we are not staying at the Poly. Anyway loved your trippie and all your pics.

Hi my name is Pierre and my wife has a slight addiction to hanging out on the computer and writing on the Disboards. Without the feedback from all your Dissers planning a trip to Disney would not be easy. Finding a place to eat, to drink and a place to chill out by the pool:cool2: is like trying to find a needle in a haystack at Disney, too much to choose from! I personally, am a lounger. I like the beach, love the ocean (not alot of commotion), and this was my 4th trip to disney. 3 with Leyla and once when I was 10. The 2 things I remember most when I was 10 was the monorail and MK, both of which are still standing and just as magical, LOL! :wizard:

The first 2 times I went with Leyla we had a plan but the kids had their own plan and it was tough trying to please everyone, as usual. Leyla is easy to please BUT you know when she isn't. Going to the right parks and finding the right rides and the best places to eat can be a battle without a good plan. This trip was phenominal because of our park knowledge, where to go, when to do it. Let's start with the restaurants- tough choosing, so much good food. Wolfgang Puck was a tough pick for the first spot. From start to finish it was exceptional. Coral Reef is my second favorite. For the rides- Soarin is #1, EE is up there and TOT, Splash, too many to choose from!
But the key was the fact that the kids really wanted to take part in all the rides and enjoyed them. Cooper developed some courage, except for the pirate cruise. If one of the kids wanted to go back or developed an attitude  and NEEDED to go back Disney makes it easy to get back to the hotel. The only thing Disney needs to add is a beer service on the bus ride back, you need it at the end of the day to take your mind off all the the sweaty, tired people on the bus (self included!)

Cirque Du Soleil is unbelievable, a definate must do! The counter service at Wolfgang Pucks is the way to go before the show.

I had to see why my wife hasn't cleaned the house in 6 weeks so I read her trip report. I know she doesn't beat around the bush, never has and never will and it was well written. She summed up each day quickly but accuratley, I know she could have written much more. because we did so much each day due to her great planning. Her reserved sense of humor really came out in each installment. I hope to spend some more time with her now that she's nearly done! I hope to go back to Disney soon because I REALLY enjoyed it truly for the first time.:thumbsup2

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude!

and fellow hockey fan (except I dont play and don't have metal plates or screws in my body). Getting to "know" your family has been awesome.

Will the Patriots go undefeated and will the BoSox make another comeback?

Hi,Pierre!:goodvibes Loved reading some of your opinions and thanks for letting us "borrow" Leyla!:woohoo: We all hope she's not done too quickly....:rolleyes1

I had to see why my wife hasn't cleaned the house in 6 weeks so I read her trip report.

Now that I know that a trip report is a good excuse for not cleaning house, I'm starting a Pre Trip RIGHT NOW. So what if I don't have another trip planned yet!

Pierre, you are such a rock star. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed Disney so much ... I know how much time and energy Leyla put into planning and how important it was to her that everyone enjoy the trip. WDW is magic, but it sure is a bonus to have a great trip planner who can work magic of her own :wizard: (she'll find a way to work on that beer cart, I'll betcha! :rotfl2:)

And, as the BFF :flower3: , I have to throw a shout-out to all Leyla's readers ... it's been awesome to see so many people enjoy reading her report, and I know she's had a great time writing it. I'm starting to think she should go to Disney once every two months so we all have something to read! ;)

And now my off-topic (but acceptable!) plug:
GO SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Leyla
Loved, loved, loved the video! The music was great and the pictures were awesome set to music! It was so great.

Ruthie

Really like the idea of the video - nicely done, and you had a ton of really great pictures. One would get the idea that you guys had a fantastic time :rotfl2: !

Great remix Leyla!

Thanks, I love doing the remixes, it makes it more fun than a plain slideshow! :hippie:

Wow, I'm flattered! I'm crazy-busy this week but hope to get back to writing my TR soon. In the meantime, I've been popping into yours to keep me in the mood.

Now you have no excuse, you gotta keep writing! :goodvibes

Nooooo your TR cannot be over I just won't allow it!! I have said it before and I will say it again, this has been one of the best TR's I have read!!! I think you need to plan another trip asap because I won't have anything to read now when I come home!

You know how to make a girl feel good! Don't worry there are 2 trips in the works! PS-the check's in the mail. :lmao:

Hi,Leyla! Love the video....

Cool tattoos and shirt!:thumbsup2

Thanks Amy! :goodvibes

If my DH ever wrote something like that for me I would consider it my Mother's Day / Anniversary / Christmas gift all in one! You two are a great pair and it was a pleasure to "see" such a wonderful family vacation!
:bride: :groom:

Awww, thanks! BTW- I held a gun to his head :lmao:

Hi Pierre, and welcome - it has been a privilege to get to know you and Leyla, and the kids, a little, through this trip report, and enjoying the trip right along with you guys. Love the fact that there are pictures of all of you in the report and nobody was left wondering why so-and-so wasn't there :rotfl2: .

And it is OK for you to be a Bruins fan, but this is Red Wings country over here! (but two of my daughters housemates from college at Bowling Green are in the Bruins system, and have had time up to the big show).

Hi Fred- I'll reply since it took me a month to get him to write that! That drives me crazy when I don't know "who" I'm reading about! Bruins won last night!! :woohoo:

Hi Pierre.

Thanks Scott! :goodvibes White wine is my choice too, a little Pinot please!

:laundy: is SOOOOOO overrated! I'm glad you liked the report, I've really enjoyed writing it! POFQ is better, more compact, your kids will love the water slide there! CBR is very pretty and I liked it but I HATED the internal shuttle thing!

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude!

Duuuuuuuuudddddeeeee! Bruins AND the Sox won last night! Ahem, so I was told! You know MY butt wasn't watching sports! :rolleyes1

Don't worry Amy, I gots some more stuff coming! :cool1:

 Hi Pierre. Clean houses are overrated but a good trippie is not! :goodvibes

I totally agree. My interview with a housekeeper is set up next week :rolleyes

Now that I know that a trip report is a good excuse for not cleaning house, I'm starting a Pre Trip RIGHT NOW. So what if I don't have another trip planned yet!

I'll send over my housekeepers number...... :rotfl2: when I'm done with her :rotfl2:

Thanks Cory, I knew if I bugged you and P-dog long enough you'd both post! :rolleyes1 :rotfl2: I like the Disney every 2 months idea! BTW- what's this "hoping for disney june 08" carp???!!! It's a done deal as far as I'm concerned! ;)

Your trip report was awesome!!! I really enjoyed it a lot!

Hi Pierre-  oh, don't worry I put the gun away.... :lmao: You know me to a "T" as far as not beatin' around the bush EVER and knowing when I'm not pleased! Come on now, the house doesn't look THAT bad! Mostly. Kind of. I DID sweep yesterday. :rolleyes1

Your trip report was awesome!!! I really enjoyed it a lot!

Hey, thanks, glad you like it :goodvibes !!! When I come home from work Pierre is going to have to pop my inflated head! ;)

Great report. I liked it alot. Did you see that Wintuk was playing at madison square garden in Dec? Glad you guys like Coral reef we will be there in Dec.

Hi Pierre
Sorry I'm late but just had to say its been so worth your house not being done! Leyla has worked so hard on her report and managed to get it done so quickly. It has been great fun to read and I feel like I know you all already.
You have a great family and I hope this is the first of many trip reports!

Ruthie:)

We woke up today on our last day, wahhhhhhhhhhhh! I don't wanna go home! Okay, I lie, I was ready to leave. Kind of. It was such a perfect week, having done all we wanted and more. I was really happy that the kids loved doing everything this time. Last year Cooper wanted to watch TV :happytv: in the room the whole time and Bella only wanted to be in the pool so it made it mo betta, ya know? We finished packing up our bits and pieces and headed over to the Customs House to drop off our bags. We had to leave Epcot by 1:15 to make our bus to the airport. We were going to be one of the bench losers today! Pierre took FOREVER getting ready (BTW I am almost always ready faster than him) so we were later then I wanted to be. What "was" I? All together now.... ANNOYED! :sad2:

We dropped the suitcases off and waited for a bus to take us to OPR so we could grab a bite to eat. It took WAY too long so we walked behind customs to the bus stop there because Pierre said we could jump any bus to OPR. LIE, he was wrong so I huffed and puffed (and b*tched) BACK to Customs to wait for the internal shuttle. I think we wasted about 45 mins doing this so I was definetly not happy but didn't want to end the vacay like this. I counted to 10 in my head and got over it. Mostly. We finally got to OPR, grabbed the last of our snack credits and got straight on the Epcot bus. The crowds were pretty low there, thankfully! My plan was for World Showcase since that was on MY list for the week. We had about an hour to kill before it opened so we did Soarin' first

DisneyMay033.jpg

From there we went over to Test Track since that was a favorite for us and grabbed some FP's. I saw a photopass photographer and wanted a family shot.

Picture059.jpg

Bella wanted to do Club Cool and loaded herself up on soda. She also drooled over the make your owns cup things again. She's saving up for that next time. Yeah, that and about 100 other things. We saw those huge Coke bottles used to save change and were tempted but didn't want to carry it around. Eeh, I'll get a gallon pickle jar from the pizza shop to use! Anyone else have to glue the lid on those? Or is that only me? :rolleyes1

We did a slow walk over to World Showcase and passed a group on Segways. Pierre thought it looked like fun and really wanted to do it. Oh yeah? Well I asked you last month but you had no interest in my Disney planning so I didn't book it for you. Let's admit that we all get a little crazy with our planning and *I* even got on my OWN nerves. I told him we'd add it to the list next time! We walked through Canada and Pierre got a yummy iced coffee drink. We sat down and enjoyed the view of the water and listened to the sweet sounds of our kids killing each other. Ahhhhhh. Scratch that, I threatened them.

DSC02407.jpg

It was getting close to opening of WS so we walked to the ropes by the International Gateway and waited in the heat. OMG it was hot! The kids were still cranky so we put them in some shade. They both feel sick to their stomachs when they get really hot and this was no exception. There seemed to be a problem in the America section of WS so it delayed the opening and you KNOW people were p*ssed. :furious: One guy was kind of rude the the poor guy manning the ropes, glad it was him and not me... It finally opened about 20 mins late so we flew through to France because I wanted to know when Belle gets there. Not till 1 pm which stinks because we would have to miss her and the Beast. In Morocco we checked out a shop and I loved the stuff they had in there. I tried on some shoes and am mad at myself that I didn't get them! Pierre even offered to get them but I always overanalyze what I buy then don't end up getting whatever it is. What is wrong with me?! The jewelry in there is really pretty too. When I go back I am deffo bringing some shopping money!

In Japan we found the first Kidcot stop we made. The lady was super nice and I asked if she could write the kids names in Japanese on the handle and she did. They loved drawing on the masks and we had to pull them out of there. The koi pond :fish: outside was beautiful and we enjoyed watching it for a few minutes before we hit up America. The woman at that Kidcot stop looked totally bored and wasn't in the best mood but Bella and Cooper could care less, they were coloring! Some old guy was standing behind the trees there, trying to be funny, saying he was a talking tree. It didn't work, he wasn't funny. Pierre DID ask if there was any beer back there though. He found a shirt in the store that he liked and it was only $9, probably the cheapest thing in Disney. I think he spilled something on the shirt he was wearing so did a quick change into the new one. Bella was playing with the videocamera outside and it was funny to watch what she filmed. She caught Cooper sucking his fingers, picking his nose and playing with his mask all at the same time. :rotfl2: I'M not the only multi-tasker in my house!

Italy! Ciao Bella!!!

2006125.jpg

The masks near the Kicot there are pretty cool! After they color for a few we hit up Germany cause you KNOW they got some beer there.

I can't get over how AUTHENTIC everything is in Worldshow case. SO amazing and stunning! We kind of went through it all on a worldwind pace since our time was limited but it was enough of a taste to leave me wanting much more! Bella overheard some kids getting a prize for visiting all the countries. Her brain went into overdrive and her body soon followed :hyper: . I hated to tell her we would'nt have time for her to do them all. Potential meltdown but she handled it well. The mini village they have there is really neat! I also hated that none of the food kiosks were open yet, STOP teasing me!!!!!! Geez, it all looks so good! The Food and Wine Festival was starting shortly so it was all set up. Fairy-Tale-Bride has tons great shots of it and good descriptions, check out her report if you want to hear about it. Even the counter services weren't open, I don't get it. Seriously I can eat lunch at 10:30 on a regular basis, I'm always hungry!

Over to China next and the lady tries to get us into the movie. We asked where the Kidcot stop was but she didn't really speak English so we found it on our own. I'll see the movie next time, I promise! When we were in there Pierre grabbed some dumplings for us. The kids were coloring away and got 2 stamps here, one for the country and one for the year they were born. Now, I'm all for matching t-shirts, heck I got some for us, but ya know the outfits in the disney catalogs that have a version for each family member? Cute for 2 people (kids), tops, in the family. Not so cute on a family of 6. All at the same time. :rolleyes1 Note to self, never do that.

I sniffed out the dumplings and they were delish! Just as good as Ming Moons so we were happy! Norway next and I showed Pierre the Layla perfume. We had some fun with the troll while the kids were Kidcotting. I had a Norweigan hat and sword and was playing with the troll and Pierre was "supposedly" videotaping it but it wasn't on the tape so who knows what he did. Technology is not his friend, bless him.

aug24517.jpg

Mexico and margarita's, they make a fab pair, don't they?! I ordered one and ding ding ding, it's a winner! Icy cold yet made me feel all warm and tingly. Jackpot! I had a buzz in about 5 so was good to go. Pierre was amazed by the Mexico Pavillion, it's so pretty in there! After the Kidcot we went to go on the Grand Fiesta ride. Bella had REALLY wanted to bring Cooper and Pierre on it so she was excited. I wasn't allowed to take my drink on and I tried to leave it with the guy but he said he wasn't responsible for what happene to it while we were gone. Well, I certainly wasn't taking any chances so I sat the ride out. About 20 mins later I saw them coming out the wrong entrance. I think. I had a little double vision going on. The ride broke down so they were bummed. Oh well. Lunchtime!

Cantina San Angle it was! Bella likes the spicy stuff so we figure we could get through a meal here without hearing her complain. The seating is nice outside, right on the water, loads of stuff to look at. I had the Mexican salad and enjoyed it. The churro's are outstanding but who doesn't like those? Both kids had the Plato del Nino and liked it. I can't remember what Pierre had but I'm pretty sure he liked it. You get ALOT for your credit here and it was an overall hit with the L family. Time was ticking away and we needed to use our Fp's for TT. We gathered up our stuff and headed over, stuffed tummies and all. Quick stop to get wet.

Picture143.jpg

Zipped right through the line and jumped in our car for a ride. :car: AWESOME again! When we got to the end and got off guess who was there? The Dream Team. Holding something. Do we leave Epcot, do we leave Disney today? What happens next? Huh, huh, huh??!!!!!

I am always Oscar the grouch on my last day! I have to warn the people I'm there with about my upcoming grouchiness.

I'm so sad that your TR is ending, but I hope you won the night in the castle!
