Hannah Montana Rules the World! TONS OF PICS, UPDATE 11/1!

Leyla,

Happy Monday:)

Since I am in the middle of planning my trip, can you list your favorite restaurants down to your least favorite from this last trip?
Are there any that you would not go back to?

psst..I'm trying to extend your TR w/o you having to write another update.:thumbsup2

Great update! Love the Splash pic. I had to giggle at Bella's new word; shamditioner. Can I borrow it? ;)

i am still here reading along.

loved the last update, that was nice that they let you have his lunch and pirate treasure, I would crack up laughing if your kids were on my boat for pirates and yelled that stuff out, DW yells at me if I do it on my own, would be nice to hear a kid do it then I could say I was just following them.

add more pictures and make more reports per day, that will make the report a little longer.

then at the end you need to have your favorite pics from the parks, and a list of your favorites chatper, a chapter on your unfavs. a chapter on what you are going to do next time. a chapter on your fav food places. I can keep going if you want me to.

sounds like about 6 good chapters right there.

When our bus pulled up we got on and were the only peeps on there, sweet! I wanted to settle our bill before my credit card was charged so as the driver got to our resort I asked him nicely to stop near customs, whatever the bus stop across the road is called. Nope, didn't even acknowledge me, kept on driving. :drive: I'm not one to be ignored so I asked again but added some feet stomping and a couple of big, exaggerated breaths (you know the ones I'm talking about) and a "what the h*ll?" for effect. He said he can't stop or he'll lose his job. Of course I don't want that to happen but we WERE the only ones on the thing. SO annoying... I ended up getting off at OPR and waiting FOREVER for the internal shuttle.

I got to customs and went right upto the counter and the guy hands me a bill for $100 something. HUH??!! I only charged about $30, how can it be over a hundred? I scanned the items and saw that they were all from the pool bar. Oh. I forgot about that. Actually I thought Pierre was paying cash since he was doing that all week so I said there must be a mistake but was assured there wasn't. Really? Well, you KNOW I called Pierre and grilled him. He DID charge the drinks so I felt like a "you know what" for trying to argue with the guy. Whatevs. I can't be any more embarrased than I was during the whole pirate cruise fiasco so there ya go! Back on that W#$%$&%*%&^&&#^ bus.

I get to the room and Pierre starts hounding me for b*tching at him for charging the drinks. Yeah, I'm annoyed that he charged them but told him I was only mad because I thought they were charging us for something that had been paid in cash. Then he told me how much he spent during the week. Wow. MUCH more than I though but he didn't have anything to show for it. Which I pointed out to him. :rolleyes1 He spent the most money at Cirque but I told him to only get Cooper a t-shirt, not all that other crap. I only had a few drinks with the exception of our pool day (those drinks were $9 each. I thought I was at the martini bar in Mohegan Sun forgoodness sake!) Although that drink DOES look good in this pic, don't it?

DSC02372.jpg

We chilled for a while then got ready for dinner which was at Whispering Canyon Cafe. Keeeeeetttttttccccccccchuuuuuupppppp!!!!!! :woohoo: Bella totally sweats her some ketchup and I think I've established the fact that she ain't no prim, proper girly girl. princess: This was going to be HER kinda joint! Loud and obnoxious! We got to MK and went to the boat dock. Cooper was showing some photog skills again. this was one of the only times I wore my hair down. I couldn't believe how many other girls had their hair down in the parks all day. CRAZY! Way to hot to deal with that shiznit!

DSC02394.jpg

I think I took this one, or maybe Pierre did.

DSC02392.jpg

Looks like I did. Got this one of my pirates "Ahoy there mateys!" By the way- Bella always dresses like this. I guess it saves me money. At least she's clean. She owns 1 skirt and it's sweatpant material. When she wears it she thinks she's dressed for the prom.

DSC02395.jpg

We got on the boat and sat down for the quick ride over. The sun was starting to set and it look just gorgeous on the water! We stood on the dock for a couple of minutes just looking and I would have gotten a pic but my camera was having a brain fart. We walked up the path and saw the pool. Bella was in heaven! :cloud9: I could see why, the pool is awesome there! I already decided I was staying there on a future trip and we hadn't even gone inside yet! We went inside to the lobby and were wowed, I loved the log cabiny look and the super high interior. The little bridge is a nice touch with the babbling brook, they ran over it a bunch of times. Video only, sorry! Of course I could do more of my ghetto pics but I'm not in the mood. Pierre caught us going in.

DSC02396.jpg

Now, this you might not believe but he went to find the bar... and came back with a couple of yummy drinks! I'm pretty sure mine was a martini but I'm sure you know that already. I found WCC and checked in

Okay, lets cut to the chase. The Lincoln Log table is about the best thing ever to hit a restaurant waiting area. Agreed?! :thumbsup2 Bella and Cooper could have stayed there forever! Cooper kept making Pirate forts and Power Ranger forts (they looked like the same tower, mind you, but I was still impressed) and was telling me they are his 2 favorite things in the world. Um, I thought those 2 things were the cause of meltdown #1 and meltdown #5. KIDS! There were some other people waiting near us and they noticed Pierre's Patriot crocs so they started a conversation being from MA themselves. The guy was bragging to us that he was the one who started the "wave" at Fantasmic on Mon. night. I thought it was the 2 cm's waving their arms in front of the whole audience but I'll amuse him. We were finally called in and seated, dragging reluctant kids with us. I can't remember our waitress' name but she did an okay job. She looked kinda tired but was very nice and has worked in Disney for 10 years, the last 2 1/2 at WCC. We got the Western cheese dip for a starter and shared it. Bella thought if was fab and is begging me to buy spicy cheese dip for her (she loves spicy stuff) but I don't get stuff like that for the house. She didn't sit with us too much, the LL table was calling her name. Cooper liked his watermelon, I did too! I felt like spending some more of Pierre's money so I got them each a drink with the lightup clips on them. Off the dining plan. Ooooh, I'm reckless! Seriously, the only things they got from us that week were a Cirque Tshirt for Cooper and Bella had to get new crocs because the strap on her old ones busted off while she was walking. She probably rigged them. She was dying for the pink and purple Disney crocs.

I got myself a milkshake, still don't know why since I didn't drink it. I'll chalk it up to trying different things. For my entree I got the roasted chicken and Pierre got the skillet. That was a given, really! Cooper did another Annie Lebowitz sitting, geez I should pay him! I love these pics of Pierre and I, we had VERY few of us before our trip (as is evident from our Coral Reef menu)

DSC02397-1.jpg

I had to get Bella, practically kicking and sceaming, when our food came. This was her big moment, she had to get something that she can get some ketchup on so the chicken fingers it was. Our waitress yelled out the golden words (Bella helped) and ALL the bottles appeared. This left Bella foaming at the mouth and LOVING this place! :hyper: I started to eat my meal and saw she had the bottle in her mouth. "WHATAREYOUDOING?????" She seriously thought she was supposed to drink it and looked confused when I told her no! What is wrong with her??!! OMG? I'm still shaking my head over that one.... Here's Pierre's skillet.

DSCN2426.jpg

I really didn't eat much, my chicken wasn't that great, not too bad, but kinda blah, bland. Pierre felt the same about his skillet, nothing really stood out. A waitress near us yelled out for a black crayon and Bella ran over there 100 miles an hour, laughing the whole time. The waiter at the table next to us was AWESOME, he was really loud and obnoxious (like Bella, but he was a grown man, LOL!) and made the woman sitting there ride a pony around singing Happy Birthday to herself. We got some dessert, Cooper got Worms in Dirt and Bella got cinnamon apples (and she stole half of Cooper's worms when he wasn't looking). I got the S'mores cheesecake and it was totally yummo! Couldn't finish it but it is worth ordering. Oh, just remembered why I could'nt eat it all. Pierre didn't want dessert so I got to order his too- the cinnamon tortilla icecream. THAT was even better than the cheesecake! After our meal I tried to give away my last child TS credit but no one needed it. Oh well, I tried to spread the magic! :wizard: Now, while the food was just so-so we are absolutley going to eat here again for the atmosphere. Loved it!

I snapped these adorable pics on the steps outside of the restaurant.

DSC02402.jpg

We went down to the boat dock and found out the boats were done for the night. Oh no!!! We backtracked to the bus stop, looking into the daycare room on our way. That's it! We are deffo staying here next time! There were no more buses running to MK so we ended up having to go to Pleasure Island and wait for ANOTHER bus to take us back to CBR. Ughhh. When we got into our room I started to sort out stuff and pack. Sniff, sniff!

great pictures, the western chicken pasta was awesome at Whispering canyone, you might really like that one when you go back.

Um ...... can I order an 8 x 10 ?:rotfl2:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: You're too much!

Aww, thanks Jordan! I've got 2 more installments for th trip BUT have a bunch of other surprises up my sleeve! :scratchin :scratchin

Great update! Love the Splash pic. I had to giggle at Bella's new word; shamditioner. Can I borrow it? ;)

thanks! I'm still laughing over that word! Borrow away!

Hi Dan! I WISH I had more pics, although I can "borrow" more, hehe! I have some good endings up my sleeve so I ain't dead yet!

Ahem, feel free to pimp out my report! Just sayin' :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I was all excited looking at the pic of the skillet till i read it was bland. Nice pics. Sounds like fun. I may change it I don't know if I can handle all the running around and stuff.
:scared1:

Ya know, Cooper does a pretty good job with the camera for his age. And I can identify with Bella on the spicy things - there's nothing that cayenne pepper can't help!

Part of me wants to try out the different resorts, like WL, but I REALLY like POFQ, and will probably go back there again the next time again. But I probably should at least take a look at WL - it sounds nice.

Now bring on the surprises (and boy, did the Pats have a surprise for Dallas Sunday - go Tom Brady! - gotta pull for him because he's a UM boy, but also, despite their claims that they have changed, we don't have much going for us here with the LieDowns, I mean Lions).

Hi Leyla
Those drinks look well worth $9 to me:lmao:
Coopers picture taking has improved so much since your pre-trip! Those pictures he took were really good, its always nice to have some of the two of you. I don't know what I used my camera for before I had kids!
Bella and my daughter seem to have such similar taste in clothes. I used to try and get her to be different, but now I just let her wear whatever.
We loved WCC too, a year on my daughter still talks about it, shes never been anywhere like that before. Me and my husband went into a place with a similar atmosphere in Boston once, but we didn't realize until the end of the meal! I'm with you on the food at WCC, ours was so-so but the whole place was so good we'd go back for sure.
I can't believe we're nearly at the end of the TR:sad1:
When is your pre-trip for WL starting?

Ruthie

I got them each a camera and there were only 3 on Bella's that came out, 2 from the bus and one of me with shorts and no top on. Can't be postin' THAT one! I gave her the camera to take on the pirate cruise but she forgot to take pics. I should develop Cooper's, he did pretty good with the digital. Do you ever check out perezhilton.com? This is a link for that stuff I was telling you about. http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P188249&categoryId=C10480

No I havent checked that out but Im headin there now!:thumbsup2

TELL ME ITS NOT TRUE! Your TR cannot come to a end yet...I love you guys!! Your family is so fun and exciting...what am I gonna do now???:confused3

BTW-- I too loved the pics of you and Pierre. You guys do look so very happy. And fun!! If we were drinkers we would definitly have to have a few with you guys!!!!:thumbsup2

Great update Leyla! You really should start renting Cooper out for his photog skills. You know, make some money off of him because he takes great photos! That one of you and your DH at the table is fabulous! :thumbsup2

great pictures, the western chicken pasta was awesome at Whispering canyone, you might really like that one when you go back.

Believe it or not I don't like pasta but I will definetly try something other than the chicken there!

:scared1:

It looks delicious doesn't it? I think it was okay just not great. There was alot of running around and commotion but it was really fun. If there are going to be kids iwth you then you should go!

Tom Brady, now that's a hottie! POFQ is SO pretty and the price is great, although I don't think the WL is that much more. I just want to work my way around their properties.

Leyla,

Surprises?? Niiice!:thumbsup2

You and Pierre look very happy together. Unusual these days.

Yeah, we really are and I feel so lucky. We are best friends and THAT makes all the difference. I thoroughly enjoyed spending the whole week with him!

What restaurant in Boston is it? We'll probably go and see the Bruins play sometime so it would be fun to go somewhere that's her "style". How old is your dd? Cooper did do a great job with the camera!

Waaahhhh, I don't want it to end either! I feel like I've really gotten to know all of you guys too, weird, ain't it?! I would definetly hang out with you guys. You are nearly done too but I'm going to sign onto your myspace. I never use mine but that's because I Dis'ified. I should get an award for all the Dis words I make up!

You should know cause your pics always come out great! Hmmm, I wonder if he can fund a family trip to WDW? I put that pic of us up on my station at work.

Speaking of work, my salon is being remodeled this week but we are working around it. Should be fun. I'm SO ready to have the 80's style fake marble laminate counters GONE!

Leyla!

I have a hair question...what product should I use for my hair to keep it from being a frizz ball in Florida?!?

Thanks!

Whispering Canyon sounds like lots of fun and one of those that you just have to try. :) Thanks for the food pics!

We will be doing a pre-trip for our girls outing, Right??!! Stop lurking!!! :lmao:

Okay, okay, I knew the guilt would get to me eventually :guilty: I keep promising to log on and post but I just haven't found the time. In fairness (and Leyla will attest to this!), grad school is kicking my **** right now, so my time is pretty limited. But now that I've been directly ordered to stop lurking, I guess I had to give in :lmao: So I'm the famous (infamous?) BFF and I'm proud to say that I know the entire cast of characters in Leyla's report almost as well as I know my own family. Leyla & I have the coolest friendship ... it's survived 25 years, thousands of miles, and a host of assorted trials and tribulations. She rocks and I love her and her family!

So Leyla's already spilled the beans that I've never been to WDW, but all the enthusiasm in this board has certainly piqued my interest!!! :yay: I have been to Disneyland, though, so at least I'm not a Disney neophyte. I can't wait for our girl's trip - hopefully we can be more energetic than we were on our big night out at the casino :rotfl2: And I am really, REALLY looking forward to Epcot in particular ... I have another friend who is a once-a-year Disney visitor, and she is convinced that I'll never want to leave. I'll leave the trip planning to Leyla, though - she is a true planning rock star :cool2:

Anyway, I just wanted to say hi to all the awesome people on Leyla's thread. It's been so fun getting to "know" all of you and sharing in your Disney excitement! Here's to girls' weekend in Disney!!

PS - GO RED SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(PPS - Fun fact about me: I love Tinkerbell! :tink:)

By the way, I am sooooo glad to hear this about the salon. I love having Leyla do my hair, but I hate staring at that depressing painting of the wilted flowers! :rotfl:

Loved the update and great pictures!:cool1:

We loved WCC and the skillet was really good to me.:confused3

I bet Bella did love the ketchup thing.:rotfl2:
