Just me and DH on belated Honeymoon.

12/27 - Got upgraded to 1st class in Atlanta and after our 3 hour plane ride from Sacramento, CA the 1st class was really welcomed. Had to wait 30 minutes for Mears shuttle (starting to grumpy) Meet a CM who was just working for a couple of days gave us some great tips for AK. Checked at POR. Bell service took us and and our luggage to the Acadian house. The Bell man joked that this was our first ride as he was zipping through the walk ways and trails at a fast pace with the golf cart. This trip started at 9 am PST and ended in our room at 11:30 pm needless to say we were hungry. We ordered the only thing we could that night, pizza. For some reason it didn't agree with either DH or I maybe it was cause we spent most of the day in the air.

2/28 - The plan was to sleep in and then head to Richard Petty's Driving expierence. Well we were up before the sun so we decided to head to MGM. Went on TOT and RRC then hit back lot tour and a few other things. Probably one of the highlights of the trip was when we wandered into the PrimeTime Cafe. We had so much fun there. I highly recomend it. DH didn't eat his veggies and he got an earful from our waitress. LOL

The took off for Richard Petty's Driving Expierence (DH's X-mas present from me). This is the first snag we came across. For some reason we though the RPE was at WWS but it was really by MK. We hoped in a cab. Well MK was closed so they wouldn't let the Cab driver take the road that takes us to RPE (he actually had to go through the pay stalls TWICE!) CM's directing traffic were really RUDE! We were just trying to find out how to get to the race track and they kept telling us to keep driving. Finally ended up at the Transportation center where a special bus picked us up and took us to the race track. DH had a great time and so did I and I was just an observer. For anyone that likes to drive fast I recomend Richard Petty's Driving Expierence. Got dropped off at the Transportation center again and had to take a ferry to MK just to catch the bus back to MK. Very tired at this point as we had only had about 3 hours of sleep the night before. Back to POR for well deserved nap.

Woke up about 9pm and headed to Downtown Disney. Ate at Captain Jacks. Was really good pretty muched walked right in and sat down and we hadn't made any priority seating. Good dinner big portions( So big that meat lover DH couldn't finish his rib dinner) Walked along Downtown Disney towards PI. Tried to go and dance at the 80's club there but didn't have the energy. Saw the New Years celebration spent some time at the Adventures clug (really funny) headed back to POR for some much need rest.

Did I mention that DH woke up with a cold.

Stay tooned for Day3 and 4.

I think the Richard Petty's Driving Experience is a great Christmas gift. I think my husband would so dig that. Thanks for the idea! :teeth:
