I am moving to AZ from Orlando. I really want to do the halloween party at Disneyland. Do tickets sell out pretty quickly? Also are they available on the 15th for non passholders?? I saw on another thread something about Hojos...is this their halloween party? Here it is called Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party. I just want to make sure I book the correct vacation.

DLR does do a Halloween party thing at California Adventure. It's called Mickey's Trick or Treat Party (MToTP) and it's for the evening. Special tickets are required and some dates (mostly weekends and Halloween) sell out. However, a Thursday (15th) might not have as much of a demand, but I don't think they've set the dates yet for this year, have they? They don't do the party every night.

HoJos is a hotel across the street from DLR. The Howard Johnson. Many DIS members here recommend it.

The tickets are already on sale on the DL AP website. But I don't see anything on the DL main page yet.

The dates the MToTP will be are:

October 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30 and 31.

I don't believe they sell out as fast as the WDW party does.

The dates are on the AP website. Ticket sales start May 15.

Ticket sales for AP holders (and usually Disney Visa as well) start on May 15. Non-AP tickets will be some time in the summer (August last year).

The tickets do sell out, but not that quickly. In August last year there were still plenty of tickets for non AP holders. They are not available on May 15 for non AP (unless Disney Visa). Hojos is the Howard Johnson Hotel across from Disneyland. They sometimes have great rates and lots of people stay there.
