You're welcome Laurie!! It was good!! We still have his "birthday" meal to have.


Yesterday was stellar in another way. We found out that Kacy's Pell Grant came through and it will not cost us anything for her to go to college. It was a great relief to my stress level.

Derek's birthday meal is postponed until Thurs. lunch since we are BROKE! Also his work schedule is all over the place....so it all worked out.

That's great news for Kacy & you!!! Hopefully the government will balance the budget so that isn't affected......I was reading earlier about student loans & such being at risk if they don't get things figured out. Derek would be in big trouble too since he's depending on it for school & rent.

I think that the money for this year is safe. They can't take it away as it is already approved. After this year who knows? I am hoping that these are things that they would deem important enough to keep.

Amen to that!! (also social security, pay for the military, medicare/medicaid, etc.) All those things are being threatened.......how bout this congress.....why don't you take a major pay cut or stoppage until you make sure you have the needs of this country & the people (who have no say in the budget) taken care of!!! (stepping off soapbox & discontinuing the political rant)
