We will be on the Magic out of NYC this October. The cruise is called "Halloween on the High Seas". What will that mean in terms of dinners and special events. Anything special for Halloween.

Thanks!

There are Halloween-specific activities on one day of the cruise. You can look at past Navigators here: http://disneycruiselineblog.com/personal-navigators/ and get an idea of what sorts of activities have been done in the past (and most likely will be again).

We were on a Halloween of the High Seas cruise a couple of years ago and had a blast! The ship, especially the atrium area, is decorated, and they have all sorts of Halloween activities lined up, from spooky story tellings, special character meet & greets, a Halloween costume party (in addition to the Pirate Party) with treat or treating, and more. One of the highlights for me was a sing-along showing of Nightmare Before Christmas.

I don't know if they do the same thing every year, but we had a great time, and they spread Halloween out throughout the week, building towards the 'day'.

We are going on our first Halloween on The High Seas this year, it really looks like a lot of fun.

Check them out Shmoo posted a link

Story telling and Trick or treating in the atrium. The costume contest in the adult area was the best.

They don't seem to have any for the 7 night Mexican Riviera Halloween on the High Seas cruises.
Have there been any 7 night Mexican Riviera cruises since DCL started the Halloween on the High Seas? I don't think so.

There's been a couple of Baja (short) cruises with Halloween on the High Seas. But, I think the 7 night cruises stopped before the Halloween on the High Seas ones started.

I see, there are this year, we are doing the October 15th one, but that explains why I can't find much information.

Thanks everyone for your posts!

I was wondering about special dinners or buffets!

You're going to have a BLAST for sure, make sure to bring costumes, people go all out.
