What would you do? Our town has trick or treating from 4 to 8 pm this year. Last year, we only got 6 kids. As we have only lived here a year and a 1/2, I'm not sure what it would be like on a Saturday.
We just got invited to a halloween party that day from 3:30 to 5:30 at our friend's house about 45 minutes away. I think my 20 month old DS would love the party and we would love to go to. However, we wouldn't get home until 7:15 pm or so, thus missing the trick or treating time.
I guess I'm concerned because in our old town, we were egged even though we handed out candy to 200+ kids the last time halloween was on a saturday.
So, would you stay home or go to the party?

, rather than 4-6, when it's still daylight outside, and it's mostly toddlers out with their parents (at least, that's how it is in our area, but we don't set times for ToTing).

We don't hav many here so we leav all the time or I put on our own party.
Most of the kids here in my town now where the best houses to hit and which blocks they will load up on.
