Sounds good Kristin...It will be nice to be able to refer to one page to keep everyone straight. Would love to see names and ages of kids on there! Thanks Sherry for the great idea! :thumbsup2

Kristin, that's awesome that you'll take care of compiling that info and updating your initial post. It's just really cool to have it in one place. :)

So, here's my info:

sjcubedofct, 39, DH35, DS11 & MIL arriving 10/27, late seating

Can't wait to catch up with everyone and know what's going on!! :)

Hey guys! AWOL has been compiling a list of all pertinant info from each poster. I imagine that he can post it or post a link to a site that we are the only ones that know about it. But, he left last night for a week long business trip to London. I'd hate for someone else to wade back through all these posts to create something that has already been done :)
Sounds like a fantastic idea. AWOL he is such an organizer.

Jen, So sorry to hear about your loved ones' passing. My Grandma is my little angel here on earth, and I can't imagine the pain you must feel right now....I will keep you in my prayers.

Kritter, your plans for the twin's birthday sound so cute. I do the same thing every years for my kid's birthdays......one with friends, one with family, and then a little celebration on the ACTUAL birthday. I'm driving myself crazy too, but it won't last forever since they are only little once!

akghutton, Now I'm not certain of this, but I did speak to someone from Disney and she said they will most likely not have Pirate night the same night as Halloween. But she also said there is no guarantee they will still even be doing Pirate night, but probably will since it has been so popular. So.....how's that for NOT answering your question! But, that's all the info I have.

Deanna,

I hear you all of the planning for the parties and they are over so qucikly but it is such fun....What type of themed parties have you had????

Kritter - He's out of town for a week, but if you can wait until he gets back, I'm sure he wouldn't mind sharing the info he has with you.

I completely understand the themed parties. I tend to go overboard myself. I always tell myself that I am going to make it simple, but somehow, it always ends up costing more than it would have if we had gone to a big party place! We just finished one for DD7. She had a kids concoctions party where we made all sorts of stuff from household items (silly putty, sponge ball, lip gloss, scratch & sniff paint, shake & make ice cream, etc.) We had several stations & when all was said & done, they all did about 15 projects. Their goody bags were filled with each of their concoctions and a set up measuring cups/spoons I got at the dollar store. Then I could have sent them all home with copies of the recipes printed off the computer, but no, I had to make things complicated & decided that it would be cool to have a scrapbooked recipe book for each one. Now, I don't scrapbook (I never wanted to get obsessed & I know I would), so I took a stab at 18 books with 18 scrapbooked pages each. They really turned out great, but I'm not sure I will ever scrapbook another thing in my life :) This obsessive party planning must all go along with the obsessive cruise planners in all of us!!

Now that the party is over, I turn to the next plan. We go to DL with my parents & brother, SIL & their 2 kids (10 of us in total) on 2/16 until 2/21. Fun!!!

Oh my gosh I totally hear you been up till midnight planning and making things And to boot I am having it at a big place and one at home so it makes matters even more complicated...Now today i need to take Hanna to the dr. she has such a bad cough...so there may not be a party...????UGH!!

I am going to try to go back through all of the emails and add people into the list I am compling...

ok I have gone through all 57 pages, but I want to make the list look a bit better and put it into alphabetical order, etc.. but need to run hanna to the dr.,... I will work more on it...later...hope itis coming along ok???

Kristin,
Thanks so much for your effort on the list. Please don't feel you need to get it done right away. You are so busy with the kids and their parties.....the list can wait a few days or whenever things slow down for you. Nonetheless, a BIG THANK YOU to you for all of your effort! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I hope Hannah is feeling better soon!!!!

Kristin, WOW you're quick! I can't believe you went through all the pages and put together all that information so quickly!! Take a breath, girl! :) Thank you so much for doing that.

Buckifan, my son will be SO GLAD to know there's another 11 year old boy! The cruise is a secret to my son as well, we kept the last Disney cruise a secret also, and he was so surprised. We can't wait to tell him he's going again, with different ports of call. He and my niece(same age as my son) LOVED their first Disney cruise experience...I'm trying to convince my sister to let us take her again. We'll see...anyway, what is your son like? Steven is a huge star wars fan (now, anyway), loves his legos/bionicles, plays trombone, football, is a cub scout soon to cross to boy scouts. He's thankfully uninterested in girls as anything more than friends. :)

My dear college friend will be on the cruise, too, I'll have to send her the link to this board so she can start to get in the swing of things!

I think I'll set aside time this weekend to read through all 56 pages and get to know everyone. I can feel the love already! This is going to be one amazing cruise!!

Oh, about theme parties- LOVE THEM!! For my son's birthdays, we've had a pajama party, complete with pillow fights, guests in pajamas, jumping on the beds, scary stories and a ghost cake and ghost pinata; bootcamp party, where guests received orders to report to CAMP JENNINGS for army bootcamp and arrived to be challenged by the outdoor obstacle course, MRE's and a camoflauge cake; a Hogwarts celebration, where guests received their invitations to a celebration in the great hall, we turned our house into Hogwarts, complete with my 6'4" husband as Hagrid, my sister as Madame Hooch who arranged for flying lessons, Professor Trelawny who held "lessons" in divination, I was McGonagall, and a huge banquet where we served (all piled scarily high on platters!) corndogs, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, chicken fingers, carrots, pumpkin juice, chocolate wands, hats, glasses and goblets for all..with a snitch pinata... here are some photos: http://sherrylady.livejournal.com/17181.html#cutid1 Boy, it was such great fun... I LOVE parties!!

Sherry,
My son, Drew, and yours may just be best buds on the cruise. Drew LOVES Harry Potter & Star Wars. We've had both as birthday party themes before. BTW, your pix were great! He's been Obi Wan & Harry Potter for past Halloweens. This last Halloween he was Napoleon Dynamite. Drew is an artist, he loves animation/cartooning in particular. I want him to take the animation class on the cruise. He plays the piano, loves to read and create stories/characters. He also takes gymnastics lessons, and loves outdoor activities such as hiking, creeking, rock climbing and swimming. I have a neice that is Drew's age also, and they are as close as can be! I can't wait for the boys to meet!

Thanks Kritter. Sorry you had to weed through a bunch of pages of posts to get to the info since it had already been done. But this way we don't have to wait a week to get the info posted.

You can make an edit though. Choc_marg is the DW in AWOL TODAY's line. So, you can take me off the bottom of the list & update AWOL's line when you have a chance.

Ok will do...thanks,...

Oh well if he already did it I am one step ahead of him..thought He did not oh well I missed something and probally wasted time that I really did not have but oh well...This way it is on the first page and since I started it I think I can only edit the first page Do not know but it is done...

Any additions give it to me and I will add it in...Thinking that I will put it into alphabetical order in a few once we see if we have any more then we can put them into ABC order, or order by cabin might be nice to...
So lets see when we all get cabin numbers or if you have them already tell us and I will add it in...

Buck, thanks Hanna is better sinius infection...so hoping she will be better for tomorrow...I have so much to still do..But just keep thinking that last year I missed out was in the hopsital so this year I am making up for it......

He could have just given you what he had already taken from the previous posts. He just didn't have a chance to
do that since he went to London for a week. Sorry you spent all the time going through again.
