We are going to be down at WDW for Halloween weekend and are looking for suggestions for Halloween night. We will have a 6 year old with us who will want to do something. We don't want to attend MNSSHP that night - we're going on the 28th to avoid the crowds. Does anything go on for Halloween at the other parks?

Thanks :)

I'd like to know too...we're doing the same thing as you!! ::yes::

I have heard that they have a haunted hayride at the Ft. Wilderness Resort and a pumpkin carving contest at the Contemporary and trick or treating at the resorts and Downtown Disney.

On Halloween there is trick or treating at DTD and at the Boardwalk. We did DTD in 2001. It was fun but wished we had been at MNSSHP though. We got about 30 Disney Wonderballs. (Chocolate balls with hard candy inside) All the stores gave out the same thing, and mostly only the Disney owned stores. The Lego store have a special "Halloween Lego" though. It was funs still. My Son was Mike W. from Monsters Inc. and got lots of attention.

Great :) Sounds like there are enough things going on to keep a little one happy. I don't think she'll really care what she gets or how much - she just likes to be involved in the festivities.
