No cabana here....they seem really nice, however, I just cannot justify the price of them. So I will be sitting in a chair in the water or laying on a hammock......

We are getting one on the adult beach. We thought about canceling it since it is so much $$$$ but with the recent turn of events, we are going to keep it. We think it will be easier than trying to find a place on the beach for me. Also it gives me a place to rest with better lounges than what is on the beach.

We will miss hanging with you guys on CC since we will most likely stay on the family beach. Mom will have a hard enough time getting around to not have to go all the way to the adult beach. Plus we will have the kids with us a little bit that day. And we want to check out Pelican Plunge!:goodvibes
We cant justify the cost of the cabana either...wish we could;)

I know we aren't officially in the fe list but Zac got stuff for all the kids and I will most likely have something for each cabin.

Kathie,

I'll add you to my FE list too. How many adults and kids are in your room and what is your stateroom number??

HOME! Lord that is a long drive but no construction other than the shifting lanes. Moved right along the entire way. Unpacked already and have a load of laundry in. David has left for his scout meeting so all is well on that count too.

Kathie - clueless if I said it or not but I did add you to my list as well.

Annette - hope things are improving and you find each day better than the one before. Way to go on the cabana, enjoy it!

Denise - we should try and leave something behind for Kathy in a designated spot and see if she can retrieve it.

Well, don't know anything else. Enjoy your evening!

Does anyone have an answer to my question? I am booked for Palo brunch and High tea. What is the dress code for those? Formal? Semi-formal? Is a tie required? Thanks!

Ana- Palo Brunch and tea are cruise casual (like dinner). No shorts or tanks. I usually wear capris and a nice shirt or a sundress.
I am so jealous!! Mom and I wanted tea but it was booked up when we tried. I am gonna try to get it when we board. Wish me luck!

The tram takes us all the way to the adult beach and from there it is a short walk to our cabana. We are justifiying the cost because of the onboard credit we got for the booking and being platinum. With those credits, it brought the cost down for us. And I promised Manda if she lost 50 lbs we would keep the cabana. She is down 36.

We ran some errands today and I am tired.

Have a great night everyone :)

Hey Kamy,

Aren't you a repeat cruiser? I thought you were. If so, I am so surprised you weren't able to get the High Tea. :confused3 Sorry. But no worries... you have a chance on board. Sure hope you get what you want. This will be the first time we do Brunch and High Tea so I'm excited about it. :) Thanks for the info. I was worried we would have to dress semi-formal. With a formal night, a semi-formal night, Brunch, High Tea and dinner at Palo... I was worried we would have to dress up almost all the time. Not something I really want to do on vacation. :scared1:

Ana- yeah, we are repeat cruisers, but didn't have it paid off in time. Oh well! We will try to book tea once we board.
We are actually skipping palo dinner and formal night this year. DH is thrilled he doesn't need to pack a suit jacket! LOL!

hahaha I bet he is! I'm submitting my DH to Palo dinner again because my parents will be joining us for the first time. Sorry hubby.

Well, as you can tell by now I am really preparing things for the cruise and new questions are popping into my brain. :scared1:

So, I was looking around Disney Cruise Line's website and saw this info:

There are 3 types of verandahs. The standard verandah has clear plexiglass below the railing, enabling you to see a full view of the horizon while seated. A second type of verandah has a solid white wall; most of these are on the aft side of the ship. The nautical verandah (Disney Magic, Disney Wonder) has a large open-air porthole above the railing.

Now I have no idea what type of verandah we have. Anyone know? :confused3 We are in staterooms 6612 and 6614. Cat 5C.

I believe that you will have the first type. Cat 6A is the solid white walls at the Aft of the ship and the Navigator verandas are Cat 7A. Hope this helps.

Good morning! Only two more Mondays at the office :)! So looking forward to this trip! Nothing cruise related to report so I hope that everyone has an awesome day!

Morning All:

Another Monday and no "holiday" off for our office:crazy2:
But only 14 more "working" days till we leave :yay:

I booked our dinner at Epcot yesterday morning. I told Wally when we hit our 90 day that we should book something, but he said lets just play it by ear and see, I was not happy as I know that you need the ADR's.
So he ask's me saturday night, were are we having dinner when were at Disney????? Ummmmm didnt you want to play it by ear????
Anyhow, I was still able to get something, just going to do San Angel Inn in Mexico. There was not too much of a selction left.

Well better get to work, lets get this week over with.

later
Denise:banana:

Good morning everyone! I was away for 2 days and had a bunch to read here. Well, thanks so much to everyone who said they would add us to their fe list. I truly appreciate it. We are in room #8040. It is me, dh, dd (16),and ds(12).

Annette- How is the pt going? It should help!! It did wonders for my shoulder.

We are hoping to get a brunch or high tea when we get on board. We have a dinner at Palo but I wasn't able to get either of the others. We were never at Palo before and I booked a dinner right away but didn't know we could book more than one type so it was too late when I figured that out.

We have a cabanna on the family beach and I can not justify the cost but I did it anyway. LOL.

We are at Childrens Hospital today for Stephie's check up. She is having a bunch of tests and hopefully a good report. Maybe this time we can go a year before her next check up. She is busy now learning how to play chess with one of the nurses.
We will be here all day then a 3 hr drive home. It is so sad seeing all the sick little kids but it makes you appreciate your childs health.
