Made it! No construction to speak of and one accident and the two passengers were out and walking around. Dad is much better than the last time I saw him but he has a long way to go. Would you not think that a rehab facility did rehab?? Gads.

Amanda - she is correct. On deck 6 forward on the starboard side, there is an extra hallway in the middle. We have stayed there before, super quiet.

I think I need to hit the hay - pooped would be an understatement. Enjoy your weekend!!

Annette came home today. Her insurance would only pay for her to go to a rehab that was actually a nursing home and she would only have PT about 2 hours a day and the cost would be $500 per day out of pocket. She was able to walk more today so they let her come home and due outpatient PT. She is happy to be home and the dogs are happy.

Cant wait to go on vacation, only 20 days.

No one should feel bad about FE! Even if everyone did only one gift per cabin, that would be like 18 gifts!!! That's plenty! So, no feeling bad, okay?

The good new is that we recieved our cruise documents today. All of the reservation informations seems to correct. The bad news is that we are still in the life boat. No cabin assignment for us yet. We may not know till we arrive at Port. As soon as I find out, I will post it.

You know, your cabins 'disconnect' from the ship and you can take them for a spin. Does anyone watch our sailing on the reservations site? There are only 4's or higher showing - or that is what was there yesterday.

Nothing much to report. I am stiff this morning but I am sure that a hot shower and some moving around will wipe that right out.

Yes I watch and wow that is crazy. Up until recently they had EVERYTHING available - wonder what is going on! I see one 09 now... but crazy how quickly it filled. I was thinking we might try to upgrade at port but now it doesn't look very probable.

I never knew about the extra hallway...but then again, I never made it to deck 7 to check out the deck up there either

Well nothing much going on today....going to do some running and thats about it...I already was at Michaels and got my magnets to hang my door signs with A few more things I need to pick up and then I can start getting things packed.
I cant belive we are like 2 weeks out

Good Morning Everyone!

It feels really good to be home! Thanks to everyone for all the pixie dust in the last couple of weeks.

Can't really do alot right now, so it is a good thing that I have a great sister in Amanda. She does everything for me.

Cannot wait for the cruise.


As far as FE goes, we generally do our gifts per cabin. But it would make me feel bad if anyone was stressing about FE gifts. Please don't. It just something fun. Do what you can afford to do and I know that all will be pleased with the result.

The weather is beautiful here today! I would love to get outside but it is really hard for me with my Carl Fredrickson Walker to get down our porch. But maybe I will try anyway.

For those who are curious about why our cruise has started to fill up so fast...they officially started offering cast member discount rates over a week ago....so that could explain some of it.
Kind of upsets me that they will offer CM rates and not Florida resident rates. Oh well!

Well, I am working all weekend again. Scott was a good help and did the laundry today. Maybe I will take him with me on the trip

I know we aren't officially in the fe list but Zac got stuff for all the kids and I will most likely have something for each cabin.

I can't believe we have just 3 weeks and we will be at sea! Annette I am so happy you got home ! This is a truly needed vacation for you and your sister.

Good morning! Good day yesterday but another long one in front of me today. I want to see my Dad again the morning and then will pack up the car and head to Oberlin to see DH's mom and then the long ride home. But, I am looking forward to my own bed tonight as i am stiff again this morning.

Everyone enjoy - we only have to watch the Magic sail away two more times without us and then it will be our turn!

Well I did get some yard work done yesterday, however, the bushes that I wanted trimmed we never got to them.

Today we are making another batch of Haberno salsa....I dont mind doing it its just that its a messy project and smells up the house.

Gail: I was talking with Kathy ( or I should say by PM) and she is getting on the Magic the day we get off....so just missed seeing her by a week....
