If the dont change formal night from being on Halloween, I won't have to pack formal wear...this is the Halloween cruise after all, gotta go for the costume! LOL! DH would love if I told him no formal night!

It has worked well for us in the past, to ship at least one box ahead.A We usually send our FE stuff. We also use that same box to ship stuff back home. After the WBTA, I sent all the clothes and shoes we didn't need at WDW back home. It was about $30 for UPS but well worth it.

I am betting that they just change formal night to a different night, like GC night. But we shall see. I don't think that I will be able to get DH to wear a costume.

My problem is I am always heading directly to the airport after a cruise and have no way to ship a box. But I will probably send a box to the ship with FE's in it but if there are not more of us, even that is doubtful.

Are we going to have some kind of meet?? I know that most of you will be able to meet in the terminal, since I wont be getting there till around 2pm, I will miss that.....we should see if we can do a little meet in the promanade lounge, maybe around 3pm....it will be fun to meet everyone. Just a thought, but would like feedback or input on this.
The last few cruises I took, there was a large group of us, we met meet around 3pm in the lounge, we all had matching t-shirts, we did a little gift exchange....so it was a lot of fun....I will try and find my picture of all of us and post it when I get home.....

Denise..we started to discuss this earlier in the thread. lol...I am down for a meet at 3p in Promenade.

I forgot to mention one of the 6 bags I checked in was a suitcase full of FE gifts lol and I was thinking once the bag was empty then I will have less carry on to get to the car...ha ha ha ahahahaha I had not only all the FE stuff but souvenirs too...what a DOH moment.

I believe that I have convinced myself to ride the bus from VWL so we won't be arriving too early either since we don't even leave WDW until after 12:00PM. 3:00 is fine with me in the PL but do we need to have a backup plan for either of our sea days??

cannot find a group pic that was taken on the 2008 cruise but here is just a random pic in the lounge....

the fun thing, is that there were about 6 families, that I traveled and met on the 2006 cruise that were on the 2008...so it was fun seeing and hanging with thoes people.

Morning! We are in for a hot weekend and looks pretty warm until at least mid-week next week as well. Nothing major planned for the weekend other than the dogs are headed to the groomer tomorrow morning. I will get my errands taken care of while they are doing that and we will be home by lunch I imagine.

Denise - so where are you in the first picture. Please don't say behind the camera - or in the green shirt.

Gas - I am amazed (in a good way) ours has been 3.75 or in the neighborhood since the 4th and yesterday it dropped to 3.30! I really do not understand but was super happy that I needed gas and filled it right up.

TGIF! And that is all I have to say about that!

I really don't understand and figured it would be back up today but not yet anyway - some even went down to match the only one that was at 3.30. Not logical - seems to me that my delivery expense would be more than yours since we are north of you. But, I gave up on trying to figure out gas prices long ago - it will remain a mystery.

Nope, I'm silver so I have two weeks yet....but good luck.....

Were still trying to decided what to do in Grand Caymen, so I am trying to pin Wally down, we are thinking 7 mile beach, but not sure if we will do this on our own or just do the excersion..... so I just need to get this figured out and then I'm good.
I want to make a APR at Epcot for saturday, when we get off the ship, but Wally is like, lets just wait and play it by ear......so will see how that goes....

Gail will try and point out my pic...when I get home, I cannot view pics here at work.....

Denise - was that cruise the week after Thanksgiving? That is Kathy with the long hair in the back on the right, I have sailed with her twice. I also thought that maybe JanDave was standing close to you on your left but now that I look at this again, maybe not.

Gas stations are all back to 'normal' if that is what you can call it - 3.78. I saved 58 cents a gallon, I swear, that almost sounds like gouging as it is the same gas they were selling yesterday.

OMG, Yes that is Kathy and after thanksgiving cruise and yes that was JanDave....I know that Kathy has been on a gazillion cruises so I am sure she knows a lot of people, traveled with her twice but JanDave just once, JanDave they were really sweet people too....
I was actually sailing with Kathy again on the Dream, but sinced I switched I guess you got me!!!! LOL

I met Jan and Dave here in Cadillac actually for the first time but we have sailed together a few times. Since they live only a few hours away, we get together for dinner once and awhile. He DH and mine are SO alike. I will say, I have met some of the nicest people here on the DIS.

And NO getting sick or hurry up and get better. Allergies have been horrible here this year (with those affected by them anyway) so lay low and take it easy.

Well, dogs heading to the groomer about 8:30 and I will do a morning of errands: have a package to mail, watchband to shop for, groceries to get and whatever else I can come up with. Hopefully I can keep myself entertained until I can pick them up.

Anyone who is doing a pre/post stay at WDW will want to make ADR's especially at EPCOT since it is the Food and Wine Festival. EPCOT will be busy.

Got our ADR's as soon as the dates opened. I actually even snagged breakfast at the castle on Saturday - and only a few weeks ago at that. We are going to be eating the entire time we are gone - doing the deluxe dining plan at the parks and then there is the ship.

Errands done and now just waiting on the dogs. Walter so did not want to stay - I knew there was a reason for my tightening his collar. Tracker was so wound up, he went right along with it. Funny how if you put them in front of a body of water they are in it faster than you can blink but the tub at the groomer, not so much.

I know that, so I really need to convience him of scheduling something....I think he dosnt like being on a "schedule" while on vacation....and I get that, however, he needs to know its either we book something or we dont eat at Epcot....I will convience him....

Well I am sick, head cold/cant hardley talk, which Wally will be thrilled about, but I did do some running this morning, I got a Pedi this morning, then went and got my oil changed and now I going to strip the bed and do some ....Wally is working today, so its kinda nice to have a morning all to myself.....love it!!!
