Count me as another one who thinks the fries there are really yummy. They were the best part of my meal there. :)

Oh my gosh! All the research I do and then to miss something that seems to be so yummy!!!! :headache:

August mission - go and try yummy fries at the Plaza!

(I love that new smilie, :lmao:)

Ok so this may sound gross but its good I swear...dip the fries INTO the sundae!

When we were kids we always dipped our fries into our McDonald's vanilla milkshakes :lmao:

My cousin does that. We were at Dairy Queen the other day, and she got fries and a blizzard, and was doing that exact thing.

Slight problem here, though. I DON'T SEE PLAZA ON THE ADR LIST. :scared1::scared1:

Maybe we should ALL try it! ;) :goodvibes

The list I posted a few days ago isn't current any more :rotfl:, in the meantime it got changed again, BIG time, but be sure I'll find a spot to fit it in! :thumbsup2

I will usually try anything at least once, but that just seemed so weird to me, and I'd never seen, or heard of, anyone doing that before. Of course now I kind of think I should run out to the nearest fast food restaurant and get fries and ice cream.

I also think it's really weird that I never heard of that before, and within a week, my cousin and Nicki both suggested it.

I just updated me pre-trip reviews with my current "final" list. With a few weeks until ADR time though, it's sure to change, and then with months between now and the actual trip, it's even more likely to change.

And I thought the suggestion of dipping the Chipotle Sausage at LeCellier into the cheese soup was unusual! :lmao:
But I guess, as soon as the weather gets a bit better here I will really try this at McD, esp. with a double recommendation! ;)

I just don't know how much you can trust my cousins recommendation though. :lmao: According to her most food is gross, including most of the things I ate over the weekend, that I thought were yummy. Actually, the only thing I noticed her eating besides fries and ice cream were Tostitos, while I ate; eggplant parmesan, chicken marsala, crab puffs, apple and brie cups, etc, all that was gross, according to her. :confused3 So not sure how much I would trust her recommendation, and actually passed up trying it, but if Nicki says it's good. . .;)

Need to stop by and check it out! :goodvibes
And as for changing ADRs - I had a hard time finishing my list in the first place, we'll have 78 (!!) TS credits, 24 CS credits and 60 snack credits to "kill". :rotfl2: Once I made my ADRs with no problems I changed them that very afternoon :rotfl: I have changed them twice since then, :lmao: :rotfl2: and I only made my ADRs last Saturday! :lmao:

Your cousin sounds like some of my students! :lmao:
But I guess I will try it ........ for Nicki!!!!!!;) :goodvibes

I can't imagine having that many credits! Is that for both of you combined, or each? I have 14 of each credit, (only the basic DDP this fall,) and a few days OOP, but I know I'm doing extra TS meals the days I'm on the plan, so I'll have to pay for at least a few meals OOP those days too.

Then I keep on "forgetting" about my spring trip, which keeps on creeping up closer, and though I'm excited about that, I'm much more excited about my fall trip.

That's for both of us, but it seems A LOT! We have 12 nights on the basic DDP (free - I just love free food :lmao:) and 9 more nights on the DxDDP (basic was free again, I am just paying for the upgrade)!

We are doing a lot of signatures restaurants during the DxDDP otherwise I would not know HOW to spend all those credits.
What really scares me are the snack credits, :lmao:!

The excitement of your spring trip will kick in as soon as it is REALLY close - trust me, I am taking this from experience! ;) :thumbsup2

If it wasnt pouring buckets outside I would be running to McD's for a french fry milkshake fix!! :rotfl:

I am sorry for being absent for a bit, but it has been kind of a stressful week. The weather is HORRIBLE, it's cold, there is MORE snow :scared1: and my pupils had to have 3 tests last week (1 vocabulary test, 1 geography test and 1 comparison of adjectives test - very hard for a language learner ;):rotfl2:). But finally I am back and here is the next installment!

Still Day 4, February 16

Dinner at Bubba Gump's Shrimp Company

Okay, where did I stop last time?

IMG_4280.jpg

Oh yeah, we went offsite shopping and ended up at Universal Orlando Citywalk to do some shopping at Fossil and the Fresh Produce store there that carries Vera Bradley. I love the Vera Bradley bags and ended up shopping big time, several bags full of handbags, purse and even a Vera towel!
Once we were done shopping we could NOT pass by Bubba Gump's. It's such a fun restaurant and the food is just SOOOOOOOOO good!

So, here we go ........
Tom ordered some Diet Coke and there was no doubt what I was going to order!

IMG_4282.jpg

The Strawberry Speckled Lemonade! So refreshing and so unique - I haven't had it anywhere else yet!

IMG_4284.jpg

Boring person that I am I had my favourite dish there! The Dumb Luck Coconut Shrimp served with Cajun Marmalade and Fries. This is such a good dish! The shrimp are covered in yummy coconut, crisp and juicy, dipped in the marmalade they are heaven on earth.

Tom had one of HIS favourites! Shrimper's Heaven, Coconut Shrimp, Chilly Shrimp, Fried Shrimp, Tempura Shrimp, Fries, and of course Dippin' Sauces! This IS a HUGE portion! But it is SO good!

We decided against dessert, as there was something else on our mind, that we had not had yet!

Next up - the dessert!

I would love to get my butt to Bubba Gumps but Todd and he pals always win when we go to Universal, we eat at Nascar so they can get a thrill!

I have been to Jimmy Buffets and that place is incredible! I love the drinks...um the food there ;)

Bubba ALWAYS wins when we go to Universal! :lmao: I suggested Nascar last summer, but Bubba won again, we never tried Jimmy Buffets, but if the dr......, ummm food is so good, we could be persuaded to try it too! ;)

Oooh yummy, Bubba Gumps looks really cool and that strawberry speckled lemonade sounds good :)

Love the new smiley :)
