Yum! I am headed back to the gym to prepare for my cruise in 17 or so months. Wish me luck lol:mickeyjum

Those omelettes look AMAZING! They look so fluffy and fresh-- I'm usually a strictly egg whites kind of gal, but I am literally drooling at those!
ETA: I just read your response to my previous post-- sometimes I forget that certain abbreviations (like VB for Vera Bradley) aren't exactly widespread. Sometimes in emails, I'll find myself abbreviating the silliest words! I definitely agree with you about US/IOA's park food. Disney's CS options far surpass their's. We usually go to CityWalk or off property to grab lunch.

Krispy Kreme Diet Club Rules;)

1. Members of the club agree to eat a KK whenever a suitable opportunity arises;

2. Anyone found looking up points values of said KK in a weight watchers booklet or similar will be banned for life:lmao:

3. saying KK diet mantra at least 50 times a day negates all calories whilst at WDW: FACT!:)

:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

Onto WPE, my goodness it's midnight here and if I could I would lift that spinach and mushroom omelette out of this screen :happytv: and DEVOUR IT RIGHT NOW! It looks amazing, yum yum.:thumbsup2

Ooh that looks yummy :)

Might try KK in the microwave, thanx :thumbsup2

Breakfast was a big hit! I just love the cheese and tomato one and Tom was really impressed with the spinach one.
KK in the microwave really works - I think it said 8 seconds on the box, I'll ask Tom and let you know if I am wrong! :goodvibes

I am in the same boat - back to the Disney Diet ;) I just wish the weight would come off as easily as it went on! :lmao:

They not only look amazing, they ARE amazing! And such a good value for money!
Don't worry about me not realizing what VB meant in the first place, :lmao:! Since this is a foreign language, some of these abbreviations really sound Greek to me - but I figured out VB quite soon!

I solemly swear to obey these rules! :worship: So help me Walt! ;) :lmao:

Those omelettes look GREAT! We're staying at SSR in August, which is nice and handy for a few breakfasts at WPE!! :thumbsup2

I just realized we will be neighbours in August! We are staying at OKW! Have you been to SSR before? We ate there last summer and went to check out the resort and it was really wonderful. We were booked there in the first place but our hearts belong to OKW  so we changed when it became available.

Day 5, February 17

A treat from Goofy's Candy Company

After we were done shopping we went to Goofy's Candy Company to pick up a treat to snack on.

Tom took a few photos of the display case.

I decided to try one of these .........

IMG_4357.jpg

......... a German chocolate cookie. I have NO idea why it is called a "German" cookie, it has nothing to do with anything German. Neither Austria not Germany has cookies like it! :lmao: :lmao:

It tasted nice though! This was a HUGE cookie full of chocolate chunks and nuts and on top was a big "blob" of caramel with coconut, dusted in more shredded coconut. I ate it in "parts" as this was too filling to eat in one "go".

Next up - drinks at Siestas pool bar!

There is absolutely nothing better than a huge hot box of KK donuts that are mine all mine, and I do mean NO SHARING!

Sadly they do not have any KK places locally and they stopped selling them at the local gas stations and the one we visit in Ft Lauderdale closed BOO HOO!

But when we go to Old Town in Kissimmee for the car shows we make sure and pig out big time at KK...love all the donuts but the hot glazed are the love of my donut life.

WPE looks fantastic, wish I could get there for breakfast one time!

Karin those omelettes looked wonderful!!! I have not had breakfast there but LOVE the lunch each time !!! I think I would have gotten the tomato omelette !!!!Yummy!!! Goofy's candy store is just fattening to even look at!!!:rotfl2:

Ooh GCC treats I looked at what you picked and was like, "Woah, what is that" :teeth:

All this Krispy Kreme talk is making me want to get some. Must. Resist!

That German cookie looks fantastic !! Just my type of snack.

Do you go to the one with Mickey hanging in the back room? That's the one we buy from :thumbsup2!
We don't have anything like Krispy Kreme here in Austria, even though we have amazing cakes and "Krapfen" - Austrian kind of doughnuts. So whenever we go to the US we NEED to buy at least ONE box!

I looooooooooove breakfast at WPE - you NEED to try it too! :cloud9:

Tomato omelette is a GOOD choice, :lmao:! Even though the breakfast pizza is my absolute favourite! :thumbsup2

Hm, maybe you should get some Krispy Kremes tomorrow? If you do, have one for me too!
I was SO intrigued by the "German" cookie - and it was really nice, even though not very German :rotfl:

Great pictures from GCC :cool1:
I want candy for breakfast now :rotfl2:

Candy for breakfast - don't give me any ideas for tomorrow ;) :lmao:

That German cookie looks fantastic !! Just my type of snack.

It was a HUGE cookie and I had three attempts to finish it! ;)

Can't wait to see what you have at Siesta's. ;)

Siesta's coming up SOON! And some photos you might like too! :flower3:

I really want that cookie!

:lmao: Good to eat at Disney as the calories magically disappear at Disney, they only return to your hips once you get back home! ;) :rotfl:

Hey Missy, no tempting me. But if I do, I will have an extra one for you ;)

Day 5, February 17

Drinks at the Siesta's Pool Bar

After we had finished our shopping spree, we returned to the resort to put the cookie into the fridge and then head over to either Epcot or DHS. Well, the Studios were closer so we went in and saw the loooooooong lines for the trams, saw that we were to start a new row at the parking lot and just decided to skip the visit for the moment.

Why not go back and explore the resort? Exactly what we did.

So here are a few impressions of the Coronado Springs Resort!

They were just opening and we thought having a little drink would not hurt ;)

IMG_4353.jpg

Tom got a Mojito! Yum, yum!! Very good!

IMG_4354.jpg

Boring old me read Pina Colada on the menu and I knew I needed to have one! :lmao: Yum, yum too!

After taking in the sun by the pool we walked back to our room.

Next up - Sunshine seasons

Hey Missy, no tempting me. But if I do, I will have an extra one for you ;)

Tempting you???? I am just looking out for you, so you eat the correct food groups! ;) In your case that IS Krispy Kreme! :rotfl2:

Yummy looking cocktails :)

Oh right, I am still learning about healthy food groups etc and am soooo glad KK is amongst them  Perchance would Lola's Cupcakes also be in the same group?

If your sweet tooth agrees with it, it MUST be good for you! ;) :rotfl:

Lol, I have always thought a sweet tooth was a good thing
