Kimberely: Good luck tomorrow! Hope you have a great race. My ultra was going to start at one brewery and end at another one 44 miles away. I was actually going to train that way, starting with a Boulevard beer and ending with a Freestate beer.
Lynn: Sorry about the wind. At least you made it out for a little ride.
We had lots of prairie dogs when I lived in Gunnison, Co., but I haven't seen any in Kansas. Well, I guess I should take that back. Somewhere along I70, there is a place that claims the world's largest prairie dog, but I've never stopped.
Mike: Good idea to take a little break. When's the next race?
Mary: Welcome back and congratulations on the new grand babies. My son is the only grandson, so he's spoiled rotten on all sides! What an amazing trip. I would think you would have lost weight too, but the food must have been pretty good.
Regina: Do you do the plank on your hands or on your elbows? If on your hands, pretty impressive that you need to step it up. I would alternate lifting a foot or do a side plank, you could also lift one foot and one hand, but yikes, that's hard. Have you ever done a hover. It's where you lower your plank down until your nose is barely off the ground, and it's HARD!
We chased down an ice cream truck, so it was worth it, big time!

I have lots of running skirts and I love them. Of course, it's windy here a lot, so I think the men in my neighborhood really like that I wear them too!

I try to get the ones that have shorts, not just briefs underneath.
Robbie: You aren't a dork at all! We all understand and empathize. I am excited about going back in 2014, since I'm probably not going to make it this next year, although, you just never know!

Congrats on signing up for your first full. I was so nervous and excited, but I had the greatest time.
Vicky: I'm one of those bad people that tans. I can't help it. I love to be tan, don't mind wrinkles at all, and figure I have to do something bad for me, right?
Your blog is awesome! Both recipes look so good. I am going to have to make them both at some point, but that would involve actually cooking, and since I haven't seen my kitchen in a week, who knows when that'll happen? Is the weather staying warm up there?
Eva: I like the idea of running your own half. Maybe I'll run one here too, and we can kind of run it together!
Mike: Thanks. He's getting better, if he'll just stay off of it for awhile.
AFM: If I missed anyone, I'm sorry. I can only see so many posts, and I've apparently missed a lot.
I ran 5 miles today!!!!!

Of course, the run stunk, but I did it. I planned 6, but it was 80 degrees when I headed out and I didn't have enough water. I was burning up and thirsty, so I turned around half a mile early. I still did really good and am not in pain, so it's all good. I also walked 3 miles this morning. I'm hoping to get out for another run or walk later and lift at some point.
Harrison is not running anymore. His baseball season is going to seriously suffer if we don't get his heel healed. So, I'm debating finding a kind of flat fall half for him. I think he could do it if we take it super slow. But, maybe not. If he doesn't, I'm definitely going to sign up for something. We have a really nice half/full here in October, but it's really hilly. If I do it alone, maybe I'll do that one.
I have made it a step farther in school. I have an interview scheduled now for the honors scholarship. I'll have the interview the first week of April and will hopefully know something by May. I'll also know by then if I'm in the nursing program and to be in and have it paid for would be such a blessing right now! We just paid for our airfare for this summer, and YIKES! Scary!
Harrison has the opportunity to go on a free cruise with my parents in October. I'm tempted to let him go because he's not going to Europe with us, and it'd be nice for him. But, I'd be a nervous wreck the whole time! It's only a 5 day cruise and it only goes from Florida to the Bahamas, so not too big a deal. He'll be almost 13 by then, and I know I can trust him, I just don't really trust my parents.
Hope everyone has a great weekend. Happy St. Patrick's Day to those Irish teammates!
