Okay A) - you NEED to come up to the Mall of America! We would be there for sure!!! It's about 20 minutes from my house. And there's a
Disney store!
B) The cars actually look kind of cool - Dave would enjoy that.
C) on gifts from fellow DISers...Not a DISer but I have a story to share. My friend's daughter just got married - 22 years old, fresh starting a teaching job this fall. They were going to FL on their honeymoon (IN JULY!!!) and she asked me for tips about Epcot b/c that's where she wanted to go. So I sat with her one day at lunch and she's writing down all this stuff (you know, where to eat mostly!!) For part of the wedding gift, we gave a Disney gift card. During her honeymoon she texted me and asked for my address. I thought, that's weird, she had it for the invitation and I put it in the guest book, why does she want it now? Not for one second did it occur to me that she would be sending something from WDW. A couple days ago, we received a cute postcard with a really sweet thank you note for the WDW info and GC! So thoughtful! She's like that - her whole family is. Just wonderful!!!
Okay, I'm done.
The picture of Sophie with her blanket scrunching up is so cute!!!
Off to Vero! YAY!
We have talked about a trip to Mall of America for several years. I wish we could make our Disney trips
and go to all these other places!
Drew would have enjoyed seeing the cars, too. I am going to show him all the pictures whenever we cross paths and it is convenient for him to sit down and see them.
Disney packages or Disney postcards - both are very nice!

When we send packages, we get pleasure out of thinking of the recipients smiling (hopefully) as they open them.
I am officially caught up (even though I have tons of laundry to do and a dishwasher to unload).
Let's see what I can remember...
Gaston T shirt - different for sure.
Dont bother me I'm on vacation T shirt - Could that work if I wore it TO work?
Last picture of sophie in the purple ears - priceless!
Shopping pictures - no one takes better pictures.
Chip in the mug? Really? I guess I better read about that. When is that starting? I'm always the last to know.
AoA resort - very, very cool. Hope I eventually get a chance to stay there.
I think the Minnie vacation t-shirt should be made as a poster.

I would probably buy that.
RFID mugs - that's a big topic right now. They are going to be priced by day up to four days, and after that the price will cap out at $18.99. They will be good at all resorts. The design didn't change, which is the biggest drawback to me. I was ready for a new mug design. Paper cups will have a four limit refill within the hour you buy them.
Love the car pics. We always go to Olde Town when we're down there to see the old car show they have every Sat. My dh loves old cars. Today we went to Menard's (home improvement) and what did I see in the garden center? Mini mingos, and that's exactly how it was spelled on the box. There were 2 in the pack and they are meant to go in outdoor flower pots. Gave me a smile as I thought of Bella and her mingos.
I think Distown will have to put in a mingo pond at the city park.

And for the men, we will bring car shows to town several times a year.

We want our Distown men to be happy.
MINGOS COVERED IN JEWELS! Hehe The most sparkly mingos ever!
The Precious Moments Disney dolls look so... precious! My mom used to have a lot of those and so did my Nana so they remind me of my childhood. Don't have much interest now, but I must admit those eyes are just so perfectly puppy-dog-pouty perfect (haha, you think I've used perfect enough already lol)
What a cool idea for Father's Day Weekend, a car show! I'd probably just end up waiting in line to see Mater and Lightning myself, but who knows... I could use this a ploy to get my dad in Disney though I'm not sure if his car interest goes beyond my own
I've heard so many good things about that theater and now I kinda want to see if one day I'll be able to check it out. I have a "dine-in" theater like that near where I live, but it doesn't look anywhere near as nice as this AMC in Disney.
Love the Lightning McQueen topiary, wondering if they recycled that from the one that used to be out front at EPCOT (unless it's a still there... it's been awhile ya know.)
Can't wait to hear about the "Turtleful" part of this trip!
Jill has several Precious Moments figurines. They are adorable.
Chip Foose, who is some guy who is a big deal on the cars/Cars scene, was there giving autographs. There was a long line to see him. I actually saw a video clip that he made at Art of Animation over by the Cars area. I wouldn't have known who he was had I walked by him, though.
We want to try the dine-in theater experience, as well as do some Disney bowling. Not sure when we will get to either of those.
You forgot to mention how very expensive, I mean free, this was!
I have! John and I saw Chicken Little there on our 2nd anniversary trip.
Sweet baby!
I think I did not know you had seen a movie.
Sorry you spent your hard-earned money for me to see those cars. I am eternally grateful to you for the sacrifice.
Yes, she is a sweet, smiley baby!

Can't wait to see her in a few hours!
When you said you wanted to be past Atlanta by a certain time, I knew you were from tn

that was always our motto before ditching that car ride for an airplane!
We normally fly, but since the trip was going to be chopped up into three places, we needed a car this time. We'll be back to flying in December. I have to admit, when we first started flying, I was against it, but it only took 1-2 flights for me to be convinced that less than two hours of fighting my claustrophobia was worth getting on down there!
