We are staying for the first time the weekend of May 22nd for the Soccer Shootout. It is also our daughters birthday and we want to have a party with her teammates on one of the nights at our site. Does anyone think this would be a problem?

You may want to call the fort at 407-824-2900 to find out how many guests they allow. They allow up to ten registered people on one campsite, not sure if they allow more as guests.

xtremeebob, welcome to the DIS Camping Board. :disrocks::welcome:

The only foreseeable problem would be if multiple vehicles tried to drive down to your site. So they need to carpool or use Disney Transportation to get to the Fort. If driving they can park in the lot up at check-in and use an internal bus to get to your site.

Also respect the quiet hours posted in the handouts you'll receive when you check in. I can't remember if it's 10pm or 11pm but keep in mind others around you may be turning in early to be at a rope drop the next day.

Otherwise, party on. party:

Bama Ed

PS - if there is a big crowd you might use the picnic pavilion between the main pool and tennis courts. It's first-come-first-served but I rarely see it used in the evenings. Plus it has multiple picnic tables and grills whereas your campsite would only have one of each.

At the cabins I frequently see/hear large groups partying outside at night. However, I have yet to hear any of them make noise past 10pm. I think that's the start of quiet hours. Agree that they're not going to be able to park at or near your site. They'll have to use the bus system.

10 PM is beginning of quiet hours.

1) We frequently "party" well after midnight when we stay in the cabins.
2) But, we do keep the noise a decent level.
3) And, as mentioned above, your guests need to park in the main lot and take a bus back to your lot

NOTE: When we stay, we usually end up getting a few of our friends to come for a while. We sit and start to play. Except on certain nights when the atmosphere is just right and sound carries, our Bluegrass doesn't disturb others. (For an example, go to YouTube.Com and search for "Ocoee Parking Lot Bluegrass Jam".) We have had as many as eleven folks on the site playing, not counting other Fort Campers who would stop by and listen.

No problem. Just park at the front and take a bus in. Be sure they have name and site #.
