I would hope for that kind of cool magic!Disney Dreams said:Why do you hate part of it when we don't even know what it is yet?
Until we know what it does - let's be excited about new stuff! For example - what if it was FastPass Magic and somehow gave you a back door into a staff event? Who knows what they have thought up? Could be something cool.....

SorcererDonald16 said:In December, the parks and (I'm assuming) the two DTD pin trading stores (also assuming DL has a pin trading store in DTD like WDW does) will start selling boxes of two pirates-themed character pins. My understanding is you never know what pins you are getting, and they are nonreturnable. Each box is I think somewhere around $12-$14 (forget the exact amount) and includes two pins and two cards with codes for a VMK item(s). Reason myself and others think that about the costumes and such is that each pin is very specific-- ex. Goofy sitting on a pirate stool and stick; Donald wearing a bird hat; Stitch standing by a firewall. On one of the pins, Minnie is wearing an outfit that looks mostly identical to the girl pirate outfit that we've seen, and Mickey has a currently not available outfit on as well. There are 10 pins total, but I forget what all of them are. I know Pluto was on a rug of gold, and someone was sitting on a Pirate Couch. Could be coincidence or done to deliberately trick us, but that seems unlikely to me. There's a thread somewhere here with pictures of the pins, but the search feature's not working for me at the moment. Hope that sort of answers your question.
It would be an excellent trick-or-treat gift, and game prize too!Goofy_Bob said:Well done Peasy! Good call. And I'm so happy they kept Bat Magic at 10k! That's a good price. I find it cool that they offer a cheap 200 credit "1-shot" version too. I bought one just to try out 1-shot magic. Did you know you can't trade one-shot magic. That's interesting... I wonder why? It says on your lanyard that it's 1x and I assume it could in your trade window too. Hmm... I wonder if you can use it in a Quest Kiosk as a prize, probably not. Too bad - that would be a fun gift to give.
