Guessing of the Mystery Costumes

Why do you hate part of it when we don't even know what it is yet?

Until we know what it does - let's be excited about new stuff! For example - what if it was FastPass Magic and somehow gave you a back door into a staff event? Who knows what they have thought up? Could be something cool.....

I would hope for that kind of cool magic! :teeth:
If it's one time use only, it would have to be really, really cool for me to want it.

Maybe the pirate costumes?

Oh I was really hoping for the girl Pirate costume...but it sounds like it won't be released, as Yavin posted on another thread that it won't be til after Halloween BOOHOO :sad2: But I am excited about the new costumes coming out and when. I do hope that when they re-lease the superhero costumes that the mask will come with it. What a bummer that would be if we couldn't get the complete suit? :confused3 But still October will be alot of fun it seems like and I can't wait! :cheer2:

me too pirate bell...that was my question.. "will the rest of the pirate costume be released? PLEASE?? To go with the hat?" lol

I got denied...

it's cool they answered though

There are several costumes that have never been release that we do know about. Of course, we have no idea if they will release them or not.
Costumes that we've known about and might or might not see are:

Cowboy suit grey
Deep Sea Diver Blue
Explorer Costume Khaki
Superhero suit Teal
Davey Jones
Mission Space Suit Blue
Mission Space Suit Pink
Mission Space Suit Green
Mission Space Suit Red
Tron Pink/Red

And it's already been said that the Pirate costume will not be out for Halloween. :(

Also, I know that there have to be more costumes that they've been working on that we have not seen or heard of yet.

So it's anybody's guess if they will be doing surprise costumes or not. The mystery items could be surprise magic, decorations or pins. :)

I'm excited to see what they could be!

And as for people worrying that they might not get enough credits, at least the costumes are spread out.
You can use what you have to buy the first week and build up credits for the following week's costumes, and so on until the end of the month. :)

What about the Khaki Explorer Suit and The other Super Hero suit that didn't come out?
See my list in the post above yours. :)
They were both listed there. ;)

My first idea of the "mystery stuff" was maybe costumes like Davey Jones, and some other popular characters. I too really hope they release cowboy hat, pants, and shoes. I actually really like the idea of a sorcerer mickey outfit;) or at least something like that. What if a mystery item might also be pumpkin jack-o-lantern or the flying carpet magic?? I guess we will just have to wait and see. Wouldn't it be great if they came out with a costume we Didn't see coming? I'm mainly looking forward to stocking up on the costumes, that way u get more and more rich;)

The lack of pirates costumes does make me further think that those sold in the parks/DTDs pins with the codes will in some cases be codes for outfits. The pins just seem too specific in design to just give haphazard prizes.

Hopefully they release the mask with the hero suits; I was in WDW during the "Choose Your Destiny!" event, so I'm maskless. Wish they weren't bringing the green hero outfit back though; as it is, it's already near impossible to trade those suckers away for buyables even, in my experience. :lmao:

The Mystery Items... hmm, there are 4 of them. What was sold furniture-wise last year? Pumpkins, web dividers, skeleton chairs, and the Chernabog rugs. Or it could be pins. Or it could be entirely new stuff. I don't remember reading anywhere that the furniture or pins were announced ahead of time last year either; only costumes were. I certainly hope they sell at least the pumpkins again. If I can afford it, I'd love to have a room full of those. :teeth: If they throw magic or something like that at us though... oh boy am I in trouble, credit-wise. I think a few more marathon fireworks days are in order. :surfweb:

In December, the parks and (I'm assuming) the two DTD pin trading stores (also assuming DL has a pin trading store in DTD like WDW does) will start selling boxes of two pirates-themed character pins. My understanding is you never know what pins you are getting, and they are nonreturnable. Each box is I think somewhere around $12-$14 (forget the exact amount) and includes two pins and two cards with codes for a VMK item(s). Reason myself and others think that about the costumes and such is that each pin is very specific-- ex. Goofy sitting on a pirate stool and stick; Donald wearing a bird hat; Stitch standing by a firewall. On one of the pins, Minnie is wearing an outfit that looks mostly identical to the girl pirate outfit that we've seen, and Mickey has a currently not available outfit on as well. There are 10 pins total, but I forget what all of them are. I know Pluto was on a rug of gold, and someone was sitting on a Pirate Couch. Could be coincidence or done to deliberately trick us, but that seems unlikely to me. There's a thread somewhere here with pictures of the pins, but the search feature's not working for me at the moment. Hope that sort of answers your question.

Hey Donald...that does sound pretty interesting. And it does make sense as to what the codes would be for that comes with the pins. ;) The only thing is we wouldn't know which ones we woud be getting when buy the box set... :confused3 but it still would be fun to try and be able to get some of these costumes. :woohoo: And I will be collecting all these pins sets as I think they are awesome from the pics I have seen. :cheer2:

Well done Peasy! Good call. And I'm so happy they kept Bat Magic at 10k! That's a good price. I find it cool that they offer a cheap 200 credit "1-shot" version too. I bought one just to try out 1-shot magic. Did you know you can't trade one-shot magic. That's interesting... I wonder why? It says on your lanyard that it's 1x and I assume it could in your trade window too. Hmm... I wonder if you can use it in a Quest Kiosk as a prize, probably not. Too bad - that would be a fun gift to give.

It would be an excellent trick-or-treat gift, and game prize too!

Does the bat magic one-use have an expiration time?
