not unless he is retired/disability & has the 'right colored' ID card
i just have an issue with the policy re reservists who may have only done min commitment stateside last year & are eligible, while those who served several combat tours, with DD214 & honorable discharge, etc yet didn't retire are excluded (yes, my DH...very little in the way of welcome home for viet nam vets @ that timewould be nice to be recognized now)
realize there has to be a cut off somewhere, doesn't seem fair...jmho
to those who can take advantage, enjoy & hug ur miltary peep![]()
We have a DD214 also, it doesn't do us any good either. Viet Nam never received any positive anything. My Dad was in Southeast Asia twice. My husband was 82nd Airborne but he didn't Retire. I am glad our Vets are being recongizned now. The Military family pays such a hugh sacrifice. This is a unreal deal. I have a few families that I need to call to tell them about this.
