We are going to WDW middle of June. My DD and her family will also be there. My daughters husband is there for a business convention/meeting. There are two dinners that the two of them have to attend, so we will be babysitting our GD8 and GS5. We have PS for one night at Chef Mickey's and the next night we planned on taking them to Beaches and Cream for dinner. They have been to Disney numerous times and have seen all of the parks.

What I need advice on is; what can I go/do with the children after the dinners. I have been racking my brain trying to think of something different, I have not come up with anything.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions.

Thank you

What about walking/riding on the boardwalk outside of the Boardwalk Resort near Epcot?

I don't know what time your dinner at Chef Mickey's is, but if it gets over soon enough you could hop the little boat to Fort Wilderness. You could do the campfire and movie with Chip and Dale--always free fun!

Right down the street from the BC is the mini golf course. I always loved that when I was a kid and my DD did too.:sunny:

I agree with the posts here. The night you go to Chef Mickeys, head over to Fort Wilderness using the resort boat and go to the campfire program.

The night you go to Beaches and Cream, head over to the Boardwalk and if you need more to do, go try the Disney Mini Golf course.

Downtown Disney is alright (but my kids end up asking for SO much that I get tired of saying NO and spending so much money). There is a movie theater over there that you take the kids to see a movie (but the one at Fort Wilderness is free).

Now, if you decide to try another place for dinner, you could always eat over at Animal Kingdom Lodge and then stay around for the 'night vision goggles' program where you get to view the animals after dark. If you are there before dark, you can go out and enjoy watching the animals roam around.

For some reason I keep forgetting about Fort Wildnerness. Since we don't conside staying there, I just sort of forget.

thanks for all of the suggestions.
