gradtchr's back on track (comments welcome)

Hi there,

Glad to hear that the elliptical is up and working. And best of all that you totally love it!!!

You are doing a great job, keep up the good work.

Have a great day!

I can't believe you can survive eating hardly anything but granola bars all day. I would be a starving lunatic!

Keep it up, you can kiss the 150's goodbye for good! :cheer2:

I can't believe it either. The breakfast ones this week have been due to laziness and neither DH or I wanting to get up and cook breakfast. We need to work on that! I can't wait until I can eat the balance bars again. I dislike have the temporary crown on to the enth of degrees!

B-granola bar
s-granola bars
l-greek pita, 1 serving flaming hot cheetos
s-pudding cup w/ cookies
d-salad w/ chicken, tomato, cheese, and avacado YUM!
s-very berry parfait

workout will be upper body weights and elliptical

Is the very berry parfait from the EFL book? If not, what is it?

You should make some chocolate oatmeal for breakfast. Very quick and very yummy. I just had some this morning. I'd like to go on a chocolate oatmeal and Balance Bar diet... :rolleyes1

Berry parfait is on page 205 of EFL. :)

I love the chocolate oatmeal but we're out of oats and have forgotten to grab them the past couple of times we've been to the store. I need to remember them soon though!

I thought you were talking about the EFL parfait, but everytime you said that, I'd think of the one from Costco! Those are definitely NOT EFL... :teeth:

Hi there,

Just wanted to stop in and say hi!!!!

You are doing a great job. Keep up the good work.......

My day:
b-cappucino shake
s-granola bar

s-pomegranate juice
d-chicken and brocolli stir fry
s-ff/sf vanilla pudding

workout: 30 minute walk at lunch

The good news is my dentist called today and I go in next Thursday to get the real crown so then my eating can get back to normal. YEAH!!!

I hadn't even noticed the Greek Pinwheel recipe. I'm going to have to check it out. Glad to hear you'll be getting your permanent crown since those temporaries are a pain! Congrats on hanging on to that 149!

Boy, I bet you will be glad to get all that dental work done and over with! Sounds like a real hassle.

What?!?! No elliptical?!?!?? I figured you'd be on that thing 3 hours a day... :goodvibes

Nope no elliptical last night. DH and I came home from work and cooked dinner together and then watched Walk the Line. When it was over at 9 it was to late for me to workout because I needed sleep. I love the casual date nights. :goodvibes :goodvibes

Walk the line is an excellent movie if anybody h asn't seen it.

Hi there,

Glad to hear that you are almost done with the dental work. I know how hard it is not to eat the way you want because of this.....

I have wanted to get Walk the Line since Tuesday, or whenever it came out and DH says no. He said that it looked stupid, but I totally disagree. I think I am going to buy it anyway!

Happy Thursday! Keep up the good work!

It is really an awesome movie. My little bro bought it as soon as it came out he had seen it in the theater and rated it as an excellent film and made it part of his collection. He loves movies but he was very impressed with it.

I've been wanting to see Walk the Line since it first came out. Now I'll definately have to see it. THanks for the review!

I'm going on vacation. I'll check in as soon as I get back.

fSo much for vacation. I have an 8 year old bunny that has cancer and has for about 3 years. The past three days she has gone downhill extremely quickly. We thought yesterday would be the lend but it wasn't so DH went to see his parents and I stayed home in case something happens. I just couldn't leave my baby knowing the time is getting so close.

So I am going to be OP and working out.

The other upside is maybe I will get in to see the dentist sooner than I had been scheduled for. That would make staying home worth it.

Beth-Sorry to hear about the bunny! hope you are able to get in to the dentist at least!
hope you have a great night!

First the bunny update. She is going strong. I am really shocked at what a turn around I have seen in her and am honestly thrilled. She is so much like the energizer bunny or a timex watch. She takes a licking (being sick) and keeps on ticking.

Funny story about last night it was tough because DH is at his parents and I was home alone (first time we have been apart since we got married) and I of course can't sleep well, plus having sick bunny rabbit keeps me on edge even more. The cats saw dogs behind our backyard and came running into the bedroom meowing and nudging my hand to make me get up (I was somewhat sleeping at this point and did not know there were dogs in the area) and as I was become fully conscious I heard Oreo (my other bunny) thumping and carrying on. The last time I had experienced that was when Flopsy (the second bunny I have owned) passed away last July. I of course had the worst thoughts running through my head as I fell out of bed and ran to the dining room where they sleep. Midnight was at first laying down and I ran to her cage she was sleeping but woke up really quick and hopped up on her step to look at me with this ok where's my treat look. She got a couple of treats as did Oreo. Then I went on a hunt to see what the cats wanted and they were over by the door meowing. I shook my head and went back to bed with two little protesting kitty cats who hopped up in the bedroom window to protest. She's been hunky dory all day today as well. I really don't get it but I am not going to question it more time with bunny is just fine with me.

My day yesterday:
I hate to admit this:
PBJ for breakfast/lunch
Sonic cheeseburger, cheese fries, strawberry diet coke, and a banana fudge sundae for dinner.

My day today:
PBJ for lunch/breakfast
30 minutes on the elliptical
2 hours mall walking/shopping
Baked Ruffles with assorted dips for snack
4 frozen crab ragoons, 1 crab cake, and a few more ruffles for dinner

I'm glad that your bunny's feeling better. Its awful when our furbabies get sick. Your meal yesterday made me wish that we had a Sonic here. A nearby town has one and when dh works there he's always stopping by for lunch. I hear they have the best burgers - but I'd like to try their shakes.
