d-olive garden soup and salad w/ toscana and 1 breadstick
20 minutes elliptical
 
HI there,

Strawberry diet coke....that actually sounds pretty darn good! My DH loves the Cherry Dr. Peppers.....but the strawberry sounds delicous! I may have to try that.

You are doing a great job. Keep up the good work!
 
It's yummy-the fact that there are strawberries in the coke. Mmmmmm!

Spring break=not good eating oh well.

Does yours have fried pickles? We used to get them at Sonic in OK when we lived in KS. Amazingly good!

I need the inspiration to get on my elliptical. It does make a good clothes dryer, tho!

CHoloate lasagna got negative ratings from me this time. To much icing and I am an icing freak! Not worth it looking back. :)

Woke up got on scale scowled at scale promised myself that i would not be a miss piggy anymore! I am back up in the 150s (152.6 to be exact) I know I have to be on program and follow it with one free day a week. It might be water weight I dunno but I am not thrilled with myself soooooooooo I'm recommitting spring break or not!

I'm sorry to hear you have gained some but you are "recommitting" which is a great thing!!!!

I'm sorry to hear your bunny isn't doing well. I hope everything ends up okay whatever happens.

Beth, I am going thru the same thing! :guilty: What is it with this weight???? After hitting 149 last Tuesday I'm too afraid to weigh myself again. There's just too many temptations. We had a party at work, & dh & I were invited to a St Patrick's Day party last night. I totally over ate. I did stop with one dessert (there were 4!!!). What makes me mad is that I over ate the stuff I didn't really care about. When I hit 149 this week I decided no more weigh ins until next week; otherwise, I'll be glued to the scale. Right now, I'm a little upset over all of my dietary indiscretions! I hope it doesn't mess up my 149.

Hang in there!!! We will get thru this & end up on the other side of 149!!
 
Beth, have you tried the Mediterranean Halibut on p. 94 of the EFL book? I think I'm going to make it tomorrow but I've never had halibut before. I love mild fish like tilapia and grouper but I hate salmon. I'm just hoping that its more of a mild fish. I also want to try the taco pasta dish that you recommended. I've really got to get my eating under control again. I know that if I eat the way I'm supposed to that the weight will come off. I don't know why I skip meals, don't have protein with each meal & then overindulge because I'm hungry! :confused: We're starting a brand new week, and we're going to get it right!

I'm glad your bunny is hanging in there. Sounds like you may have some silly kitties there though. :)

Don't worry about the small weight gain. The lbs will come off once you get your eating back on track. ;)
 
Hi Beth! :wave2: I think you will get back on track soon. You realize that you need to, and that is the crucial first step!

I love Sonic tater tots and their Gingerbread Blast shake (at Christmastime) is positively SINFUL! Other than that, they don't tempt me at all...

Life is nuts work has been crazy after getting back from a break!

workout 30 min walk lunch
65 min elliptical tonight. DH and I have found a way to keep me focused on the elliptical. He comes in and we play Family Feud on the computer while I am dying on the machine. It's great! I start at resistance 4 and work up to resistance 10 and then back down to 4 in 5 minute increments. Amazing workout, and I get to have fun and not focus on the pain. :banana: I will be back in the 140's soon!!

I hope to get to everyones journal tomorrow!

Beth, I agree. The tilapia was very good. I'm so glad that I tried that recipe. Its been one of dh's favorites. WTG with the elliptical! :Pinkbounc I tried it one once in a store and could only stay on it about 3 minutes - it killed my knees. Thats one tough workout. You'll be back in the 140's before you know it!
 
Wow, that is a long workout! Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to rest so you don't get burned out!
