It is hot here. I do not like the heat. Since we burn easily and my Dad has skin cancer, we either stay inside or lather on a whole bottle of sun block. There is not enough sun block in the world to prevent me from burning. It happens no matter what I use or how much I put on. To make matters worse, my favorite sunscreen is nowhere to be found here! I used to find it at Walgreens and CVS. Now, neither have it. We checked yesterday, and I do not have enough time to order it before our trip. Anyone know a place I can get Blue Lizard sun block in 15 days or less?

Well actually this is just a two night stay where we THOUGHT there was going to be an event to attend on Wednesday. They canceled the event but we are going anyways because I don't want any more points going into holding like the ones from my canceled trip did.

my grandfather died from skin cancer when he was 44.
Given the genetic gods gave me the Irish White as White can be skin I don't really tan. I burn.

Can't help you with finding the sunblock you like. I like the banana boat spray. It's actually quite good coverage and easy to reapply regularly which is the key.

I feel you on the Irish White skin only I call it white-red skin, since I always have a red tint. If I cannot find my sunblock, I may look into yours.

It's partly why I like mandarin collars as they are still cool but if I get a stress rash I can hide it a bit more.

Oh and on the sunblock. I do find the pump pack or aerosol sprays good.
The males in the family started using it first because of the creams not rubbing in well on hairy skin. But I find it good because it's not just about strength but reapplying. Especially if you're sweating. So because this isn't as 'thick' I reapply more often because I don't feel so sticky with it.

But I do agree so much is preference. Hope you can find what you like.

I thought my stress hives were bad until I saw my sister's. I have tried the sprays before. I am not against it again if I find one I like. Thanks again.
