Long night and no sleep last night. We washed the Lab in the garage and left him there for the night, he wasn't too happy or quiet. I took the Lab to the groomer this morning to try to get some more of the stink off. Went to meetings at work for the whole afternoon, then went to get the gray washed out and hair cut. Now I'm just tired.

You know, Mythbusters did an episode early in their run about how to get rid of the skunk smells. Tomato juice or paste was the best, but they also said that a baking soda and hydrogen peroxide mixture works really well.

 Delilah got skunked a few months ago. It was not fun dealing with it.

Open the windows. This may sound stupid but I wonder if you watered down some tomato juice and sprayed lighty if it may help.

Windows have been open all day.:thumbsup2 Now I'm sneezing my head off too.

We found the best method is with Dawn dishsoap, hydrogen-peroxide, baking soda mix. The dog is pretty good. He never came in the house, but we must of tracked some in on our shoes going in and out. I've also been using Frebreeze and mopping the floors multiple times.

Yes chris uses dawn in the carpet cleaning. Works wonders. The smell of skunk. I am sorry, hope you get some sleep tonight. I empathize, I didnt sleep all night either.

I was surprised the Maui week was available since we're checking in the Sat of Thanksgiving weekend. Now do I buy the one way non-stop flight now at $274 per person or wait and see if it comes down? It's only $50 more than what we paid for our flight last January.

If it were me I would do it now. As airfare may go up due to the time of year. Sounds like a good price.

I see what your saying, I am out of the loop. I dont need the bottle I do it well on my own.:lmao: You never know with airfare. The way I view things is if I find a good price and I am happy with it I dont recheck the fare especially if I cant change it.

That's how I am too. We have non-stops out of Sac to Maui on Alaska which are usually not too terrible and they are the same for one-way or roundtrip.

Good way to think. I hate flying. I was so glad to take the train to LA. I cant believe they are taking the Magic out of LA. Which ever one you just sailed on.

It's sad to see the DCL Wonder leave LA.

I just priced all flights and it's at $811 per person total. Too bad I used up our air miles on the last trip.

:scared1: I sit on another forum, and people say they are paying more for the flight than the cruise.:sad2:

In the last year flights and rental cars have really gone up, nearly double from previous trips.

I was going over our trip documents the other day and we had two rental cars reserved! The original one was to be picked up at Disney on the 3rd day and dropped off the next to last day. The other we got through Amex travel, picking up and dropping off at the airport and it was cheaper than the other rental for a longer period. Problem is that Fran has to drive to Kidani and not take DME. On the way back, I take the car and she takes DME.

I'm always worried I'm going to forget to cancel something as I'm always checking on rates and rebooking. I already have one week reserved for $211 Intermediate SUV.:thumbsup2

That seems like an awesome deal. I never find good car rates when I travel. Next time I go to WDW, I will rent a car no matter what!

Hope you get that straigtened out. You are going to have fun. I think I may not be subscribed to that trip report, so I better do that now. I am still anxiously awaiting your Carsland report, since we will be there just a few days behind you. If I am subscribed to both reports, I will be sure to read about it.
