Got Pixie Dust? A June 2009 PTR ~TR Link, Page 180

Of course while I was on hold I kept thinking all sorts of dire thoughts -- since only some of the CMs are trained on the new system, I kept wondering if I would have to wait on one of them to come in...at like, 9:00! :scared: Or if I would accidentally get disconnected and have to go through all of it again. Or if my phone call would get lost in the queue. I tend to worry a lot. :rolleyes1

Yay! :yay: I was so happy to read that you got all of your ADRs! And Boo :headache: to that DH who started to ruffle the precious pages of the Disney Binder!!!!

How fun! It really feels like it is NOW, doesn't it!!!! I am so excited for you!!!:thumbsup2

I am going to be the same jumpy wreak, it IS like Xmas eve almost! :goodvibes I worry about few things, but this is going to be one of those "few things!"

I look forward to hearing how the call went for you, once you catch your breath!! :)

The Epcot through the years pics were great. That's one of my favorite parks. Congratulations on the ADRs!!

You really did some prizes with the ADRs. You actually got a real live person in less than three hours, as well. I'm impressed!

I'm actually taking my ADR date off from work, lol.

I think the same thoughts when I was on hold like that the second time I called to get the Yak N' Yeti ADR.

The first time I called for my ADRs, I got the ones I need in the "old" system and then the CM said he would transfer me. Ten minutes later the first CM comes on and says I'm going to transfer you directly so it was like I bypassed the queue almost. The second time they just dumped me in the queue and I waited 50 minutes. :scared1:

Oh and I am so jealous that you get to have breakfast together, Anita & CP. Anita you are going to be there when I am and then still be there when CP arrives!!?? :woohoo:

It's amazing what our minds come up with while we are on hold, isn't it?

Sounds like Anita is going to have a TR chockful of DIS meets!

Last Sunday with the 3 hour marathon call, I kept asking Marc, "does this music mean that I'm still connected"? Rational thoughts kept leaving my mind.........

I know that Baylor and Connor will enjoy each other, but I can't wait to see the lengths Baylor will go to try to impress the beautiful, much older Chelsea!:rotfl2:

Now I must leave this computer and drag up luggage and get some packing done :scared1:

:rotfl: What few rational thoughts I had at 7:00 in the morning had left me, too!

:lmao: About Baylor trying to impress Chelsea -- he may change his mind when he sees that girl putting away the bacon -- she can easily eat her own weight in it!

You get to pack today!!! I am so jealous!!!

Congrats CP on getting everything you wanted! :cool1:

I must confess, you family is much more adventurous about eating than my family would be. As much as people rave about it, I doubt we'll ever eat at Boma (and tusker house and Teppan Edo are only maybes - with all the choices at WDW, that means probably never) I would like to try Brown Derby and Rose and Crown someday though

Thank you! We aren't too adventurous -- put anything with mushrooms, tomatoes, or onions in front of the other three family members and they run away screaming in terror, but we do like exotic flavors.

Congrats on your ADRs!! I can't believe you were on hold for 45 minutes at 7am ....sounds like they have cut the numbers of CM's working the phones.

It's this new system. For arrivals after May 26, the new system is the one being used and only a few CMs have been trained on it. I have to say I am glad we made them before the online reservations kicked in -- I have my doubts as to how smoothly that will run.

Congrats on getting all your ADRs!!!

Thank you! :goodvibes

Congrats:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:    on the ADR. They sound great not only all places, but all times. My DH, his family and I tried Teppan Edo last time we were in EPCOT and it was great. I look forward to your report on breakfast at Tusker House, and Hollywood Brown Derby they are on my list for next time.

Thank you! Teppan Edo is great -- I can't wait to get the shrimp again! HBD is the one I am all giddy about! I have wanted to eat there since my very first visit to Disney-MGM.

WOO HOO!!:cool1:  :worship: What a GREAT feeling it must be to have that DONE!! I can't wait!!! I am soooooo happy for you that you got everything you wanted!!! Does the trip feel so much more real now?:confused3 By the way I LOVE your binder!!!:lovestruc LOVED the old school pictures of Epcot too! It is amazing to see those "through the years pictures"!!:goodvibes

Thank you! It does feel more real now! Now if we can just get through the next 90 days! Thanks for the compliments on the binder and the Epcot pictures. :goodvibes

I loved your synopsis of Epcot through the years!

And yay to snagging all your ADR's! Now you can fill in all those lovely spaces in your binder!

Thank you! I did fill in the appropriate spots in the Passporter already. I was eager to do that!

Awwww...Jackie you posted a picture of my beloved character bus! I wish I could find that picture somewhere....but I can't. What great memories that brought back for me!!!

I loved watching EPCOT through the years through your eyes what a great transition it has been. I think EPCOT has grown on me so much over the years it is now one of my absolute faves.

Congrats   on getting all your ADRs that is the best news ever!!!! I'm so happy for you!! You guys are going to have the best trip ever!!

That character bus was great -- we have tons of photos of all the characters we met from it, including Mickey in his Christmas outfit. Such a great way to get lots of autographs!

We do enjoy our time in Epcot!

Thanks! I do hope we have a great time down there in June!

Yay for ADR's!

:dancer: :dancer: :dancer:

Thank you!

Congrats on getting your ADR's! :cool1:

Thank you! It was surprisingly easy once I had a CM.

:goodvibes I'm so happy for you! :goodvibes

Kathy

Thank you! Operation ADR was indeed a success!

Charles should have known better. ;)

It does feel very real now -- now I can plan those park days for real now!

You should be fine -- aside from being on hold for 45 minutes, everything went very smoothly -- no problem getting anything.

Yay for getting all of your ADRs!!!!

:yay:

Thank you, Julie! :goodvibes

The Epcot through the years pics were great. That's one of my favorite parks. Congratulations on the ADRs!!

Thank you -- I love putting all the photos on in chronological order and seeing how we have progressed over the years.

Glad for the success you had!

Thank you! It will be your turn in a matter of days! :goodvibes

You really did some prizes with the ADRs. You actually got a real live person in less than three hours, as well. I'm impressed!

I'm actually taking my ADR date off from work, lol.

Yes, getting a real person in under three hours was nice. I was so afraid I would be on hold all day long.

I think I would have taken the day off from work as well if my 90 day hadn't landed on a weekend.

I loved all your Epcot through the years pictures, so cute and I really loved the character bus!

Congrats on getting all your ADRs!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

Everything you got looks really good, and I hope you guys love the Hollywood Brown Derby since I know how much you're looking forward to it :thumbsup2

Yikes! I get tied up with non-DIS stuff for a few days and I miss five pages!!! :headache:

Congrats on the ADRs!! :woohoo:

And that was a great update about Epcot! Love the old pictures. :thumbsup2

When we went in 2004, I know we met more characters than anything else.

Thank you! I have heard nothing but good things about HBD so I suspect we'll find something we like there. ;)

I was busy this weekend on the DIS. Next week will be a lot quieter because it is exam week, and I have been putting off grading about a million things this past week. I keep telling myself it means we are about to start the last nine weeks, which means that Disney is only 12 weeks away, more or less.

I am glad you enjoyed the Epcot update. :goodvibes

Oh I hope that I have the same luck getting CP breakfast as you did!!! Congratulations on all of your ressies. I sure hope that I don't have to be on hold for a long time.

I do have to say that Wigdoutdismom made the CP ressie for all of us about a week ago, so I can't take credit for that -- lots of pixie dust for you in ten days and I hope you get an awesome CP time! :wizard:

I think Wigd was also the one who told me that more and more CMs are getting trained on the new system so your wait time should be even lower! :goodvibes

I have a question about your CP ressie. What time were you able to book? I'm wondering if it was earlier than my 8:30 time. The CM told me that was the earliest they could book me since I was a resort guest. :confused3

Congrats on getting all of your ADRs with minimal pain! :cool1:

I just read someone's PTR and she called on Sunday morning too. Her experience was very different from yours! I guess they were having lots of issues on Sunday so you're glad it wasn't too bad of a wait. :thumbsup2

Hey CP---LOVED your Ode to Epcot---the pictures were fabulous!!! I especially loved the ones when Chelsea was a baby....too cute!!! I know you guys will have many more wonderful pictures to add to that collection this year!!!

I am FLIPPING HEAD OVER HEELS for you on getting ALL YOUR ADRs!!!!! I am only hoping that I can be that lucky this year!!!!!!

Looks like I missed a lot this weekend. :rotfl: Congrats on your dining ressies. Looks like we will be somewhere else every day of our vacations. Got your PM - don't sweat it. I am sure we can find another disfamily to share it with.

Yeah - those ADRs sound awesome!!! It's a good feeling to get those done, isn't it? :cool1:

We usually hit the same places each time we go - not that that's bad, but this upcoming trip, I want to try and go to some new places. The kids in our group are pretty much OK as long as there is something chicken or beef on the menu so they're easy to please. :rotfl:

Have a good week!
Katie
