If she came to help you pack, I should probably come with her so she wouldn't be traveling alone. Then, we should probably just tag along with you to Disney to help you repack when the time comes. Sounds like a good plan, right?

I could never keep a Disney trip a secret unless the kids are grown and have moved -- then, maybe I could keep it a secret.

It'll be here before you know it! Kudos on getting your ADRs! A friend of mine had a heck of a time trying to book hers a week or so ago. I hope they get the kinks worked out soon with the CMs and the new system.

And Chelsea has your Disney gene, half packed already, always great to be prepared for WDW!

Hi, Allyson!!! Chelsea does have my Disney gene -- she's my girl no doubt about it.

I have been reading your pre-trip report for a while now so I thought I would reply. By the way, I love the report. We will be in WDW the same dates. I also made ADR's this week. We are eating at a couple of the same places just different days. On Monday the 8th we eat breakfast at CP and on Thursday we eat at Teppan Edo. I love all of your organization. I noticed you teach, my husband and I also teach! I wish you and your family a great trip.

That is adorable!!! You have taught her well. I wouldn't be surprised if you checked the back of the closet or under the bed if secret Disney fan Charles has started his packing too!

Charles pack? He is too spoiled by me packing for him -- but that's because he is the type of person who packs four outfits for everyday -- he's worse than a woman.

What a girl!!!

I'll be at Animal Kingdom Lodge on our Animal Kingdom day, which is Thursday. We'll either get a cab and go over for breakfast before the park opens, or if my friend isn't able to get up that early, we'll go to AKL in the evening after Animal Kingdom closes. Either way, we're going, so I'll bring back some pictures to get Chelsea even more excited.

I am so excited about the prospect of pictures which will make us more excited!!!

I guess you're planning to eat at the Mara? Looking forward to pictures of what you order there...

WHen i was chelsea's age we used to do the same thing! (david and I) but we would only get our "plane stuff" ready because thats what was fun. I used to make lists for us like a month or so before and we would put everything aside! I think thats why yesterday, David says to me "now that we have our room at Universal lets plan our days there, I need to do something so it doesn't seem so far away!"

I know it. Now I don't feel bad about wishing it was time to pack.

I believe it was a couple of hours due to some mix ups. She had to give up and go to work and her mother called back and made her ADRs. Crazy!

Your organization with your ADRs is amazing! What great pages you've made. I esp like the one with the park hours. That's so smart-I'm always looking it up a 100 times during our vacation, one easy spot would be ideal. I bet they even have a page for that in the PassPorter (which I use alone instead of a binder)...and if not, I could use one of the blank pages for it.

Can I just say, that a tear of pride welled up in my eye when I heard what Chelsea had to say about being half-packed for the trip.......just.....so.....proud....sniff, sniff!!!! Love that girl!!! ;o)

She made her momma proud, too.

She sounds a lot like my daughter. She loves to make lists and notes and have everything thought out waaaay before hand. She already has her birthday invitation list, activity schedule, and menu - and that is 7 months away!

Chelsea does that, too.

Our Epcot Must-Do Rides and Attractions

Right now we will be visiting Epcot more than any other park. We have two full days planned there and with park hoppers we may find ourselves over there at other times, too.

When I type out the list of what we want to do in Epcot, it doesn’t seem very long. I know that is deceiving though since World Showcase alone will take almost an entire day.

Future World

• Soarin’, Soarin, Soarin’: front row, middle row, back row – it doesn’t matter to me. As long as Putty tells me where to stow my loose articles, and I get to smell oranges and buzz the aircraft carrier, I will be in my own little spot of heaven.
• Living with the Land: I want to see the Mickey pumpkins this year.
• Spaceship Earth: This is quintessential Epcot to me: Rome burning, yellow go-go boots, and the advance of time.
• Mission: SPACE: Some people in my family like getting their guts spun into cotton candy while trying to successfully stage a landing on Mars. I will be in Mousegears.
• Test Track: Nothing beats speeding around a curve after nearly colliding with a semi.
• The Living Seas with Nemo and Friends: Maybe.

World Showcase
To us, World Showcase is just one big attraction. We love strolling through all the shops and just soaking in the atmosphere. Most of the things we like to do there will be saved for the next post, but there are a few “attractions” we want to make sure we see and do.

• Kim Possible Adventure: I am so excited about this one. Everything I read about it makes it sound like something my children are going to absolutely eat up.
• Gran Fiesta: A cute boat ride. We enjoy just relaxing and digesting our churros as Donald’s friends search for him.
• Maelstrom: Connor loves this ride – the rest of us like it as well. Any boat ride that goes backwards very briefly and passes trolls gets a thumbs up from the CP family.
• O Canada: I haven’t seen any of the Epcot films since my first visit there 26 years ago. However, this trip there are a couple that we need to experience. The first one is the Canadian film. Recently Connor has become fascinated with all things Canadian so he really wants to watch the film.
• Impressions de France: The other film we need to watch this year is the French film. While Connor has developed an obsession with everything north of the United States, Chelsea adores anything and everything having to do with France. We will be stopping to watch this film as well. Perhaps I could take a Grand Marnier slushy in with me?

Sounds like MUCH Epcot fun!!!! I saw something on the Kim Possible thing yesterday on the Disney Channel, and it looked like it would be SO much fun for the kids!!! I am not sure it will be on Megan's level yet or not, so PLEASE give me the heads up when you return!!! I think she is still on the Kidcot Funstop level!!!

I am sure you can find a way to smuggle in that yummy slushie!!!! Just don't slurp too loud or you will get caught!!!! ;o)

Did you read (I think it was in allears newsletter) that they've already changed the Kim Possible attraction so that you can continue on with another mission without having to go back to a kiosk?

There's so much I want to do at Epcot that it's a bit overwhelming.

Great Lists!! You guys are going to have a blast at EPCOT!!! I just adore that park and I can't wait to hear all about Connor and Chelsea's adventures there!!!!

The Kim Possible thing looks like a lot of fun...I hate to admit it...okay I really don't...but I love that show...especially Ron Stoppable...I'm such a Ron character and the naked mole rat...Rufus...man I want a Rufus..okay I'm rambling LOL

Chelsea packing made me laugh. Yesterday was a day off (and we are going to visit my brother on Saturday) so Daniel and I packed his clothes then he picked out the books and toys he want to bring. When he was finished, he put on his backpack and said "I'm ready, let's go!) Poor kiddo wasn't too happy when he realized he had to wait another 2 days to go visit his favorite cousin!

I cannot wait to hear how your kids like the Kim Possible thing in Epcot. Everytime it comes on the Disney Channel, my kids start asking when we are going back so they can do that!

I can't wait to visit Epcot again! Your list is great. Soarin' is right near the top of my favorite Disney attractions. Sadly, I think my son may be about 1/2 inch too short to ride. Here's praying for a quick and dramatic growth spurt in the next 3 months. Yea for Chelsea's packing enthusiasm. Could she please pass some of that organization on to my 11 year old daughter? It seems to have skipped a generation.

Next Friday, I will be Soarin'! I think I probably smile the whole time I am on that ride, and I love it when I'm with a group of first-timers and I hear all their oohs and aahs and comments. I never say a word, but for some reason I feel an immense pride and satisfaction that those people liked 'my' ride so much.

Think of Brookie when you ride Nemo. She loves Nemo!

Shopping - love it! I could spend many days looking over every single item in every single shop in every single country.

The Impressions de France movie is great. The scenery and the accompanying music are beautiful.

LOVE your Epcot list!! We can't wait to try the Kim Possible adventure either! I just love Epcot, nothing like walking around World Showcase with an appropriate beverage to truly make you feel like you are on vacation!
