That's axactly how I feel.
It changes daily for me.
Connor liking Stitch has helped me somewhat.
My opinion, for what little it is worth: I think Disney could have done something a thousand times better with this attraction, and I hope they will do so with the live show. Having said that, knowing that little guys like Connor are quite happy with Stitch's Great Escape helps me realize that there are things there for everyone, and they can't all be our favorites.
I think Stitch is a cute little fellow, and I'm hoping the new thing will be something a lot more people will really enjoy.
That's similar to what I tell myself while standing in line. Connor's love of all things Stitch and seeing the joy on his face makes it all worthwhile.
CP -every time I see you write about staying at AKL, I get excited all over again for you! That will probably be the second deluxe we stay at, when we can do that someday. Wilderness Lodge will have to be our first, because Trent has wanted to stay there ever since he first laid eyes on that place.
One of our secretaries at school is going with her three daughters this summer, and they're staying at AKL. She doesn't know anything about it - she's just letting the daughters (college-aged) do the planning. I told her she was going in style! I don't think she really realized it. She's just putting in what they told her her share of the money is every month to pay it off. Since she really doesn't know what she's in for, I'm more excited about her trip than she is right now!
I love all the DIS friends that I have made who share my excitement on a daily basis! Y'all are the ones that truly "get" why I do a happy dance over AKL and then do the happy dance with me!
I can't wait to hear what your secretary thinks about AKL -- she is going to be so wowed by it!
A little info on the coming Stitch attraction:
From
MousePlanet:
Stitch's SuperSonic Celebration, "a high-energy, retro-futuristic music video dance party that features Stitch, an interactive dance troupe, and a DJ celebration host whos inviting all Walt Disney World guests to come party, dance and celebrate," will eventually take place in this large area beginning this spring.
It reminds me a little of the dance parties they have at the hard-ticket parties (
MNSSHP,
MVMCP, and P&P.)
Kathy
That sounds like a blast and something that both my kids (and me and Charles) will enjoy checking out. We loved dancing with Cinderella's mice at MNSSHP! Thanks for sharing that!
Oh, that is so funny!!!
I always stare at that leg when we go past it. Every time. It's interesting to me to see the varying levels of dirtiness. You know they go in there when the revamp the rides for maintenance, and someone's shouting, "Hey! This pirate needs more dirt on his foot!!!"
Great minds think alike! I want that job where I am climbing all over the set pieces of POTC deciding who needs more dirt.
Yeah, Chris and I should have just stayed home too, he had to work until 6, didn't get home until about 6:40 and then by the time he showered and we got out to the restaurant it was 7:45 and the wait was 2 hours! So we ended up getting Taco Bell

This morning though we went to Friendly's for breakfast and made quesadillas for dinner so it wasn't too bad, we made up for it. Next year we'll just do like you guys did. Red velvet cupcakes? Those sound yummyyyy
I have gotten to the point where Taco Bell and a quiet evening at home sounds divine!

The red velvet cupcakes have been very good this week.
I was thinking that those red velvet cupcakes sounded very yummy too
They were/are -- we still have about six left. Soon I won't be able to fit into my jeans.
I also love them for different reasons.. it took me a while to finally figure it out.. and I did this by notcing which park I tend to choose first, which ones i have more things to do at, and which ones i feel the most sad if I can't return more than once.. and it ended up being MK and Epcot.. but I've only been to AK once, so it might change.. as for HS.. its ok.. i like it but it doesn't compare to the others.. to me anyways.
I think AK still seems so new to me and there is still so much we haven't done there that the novelty is still there. However, I am blissfully happy no matter which park I happen to be in.
I don't know if I have a favorite park persay...I have favorite attractions at each park....but I always want to go to MK first. It's like, not Disney until you've walked down Main Street towards the castle. *sigh*
That's a great way to look at it and so true -- I have no problem picking my favorites out at each park!
My favorites are Epcot and Animal Kingdom.
I love the theming of World Showcase and the theming in Animal Kingdom the best I think -- with Adventureland right there with them -- although as soon as I say that I start thinking about how much I like the theming of old Hollywood at DHS.
Those are my favorites too!
Good choices, good choices!
That sounds like it will be fun! I can imagine a bunch of kids dancing around to it.

I may need to figure out how to work the video mode on my camera to capture my two in the act!
Whichever park I'm in at the time, have been to earlier, or am going to next - that's my favorite one!
I'm so confused.
Me too -- or whichever park someone is posting pictures about on their TR.
