On the voucher that I got from AAA today for our June vacation the photo pass is listed as given upon arrival. It doesn't say if it's a free picture or are they just advertising the photo pass card? Any experience with this?
Thanks.

Unfortunately, it is just advertising the photopass card. They list it as a perk even though it is free to everyone :lmao: .

Oh well, I can still get my free photo with my Disney Visa. Do they actually give you a photo pass card when you check in, or do you get them in the parks?

You get the card from the person who takes your picture in the parks. We actually got two because we forgot the one at our resort. When you get home you can see the pictures online and place an order if you want. You can also link the cards so that when you view them they show all the pictures from that trip. It is easy to do.

I too have the Disney Visa and in three trips have failed every time to get the free photo! I am always meaning to go, but it never works out :rotfl2:

My trip isn't until the fall, but if it is the same as our package, I believe you are entitled to a free 5x7 Photopass picture when you present the voucher at check-in:

This is what we received from our AAA agent and is copied from the WDW site:
Disney's PhotoPass Certificate

With Disney's PhotoPass service, you can now have your family's magical Walt Disney World® Resort vacation memories captured by a professional photographer and then available to view and share online. And it's as easy as 1-2-3!

Have your picture taken by any of the Disney's PhotoPass Photographers stationed throughout each of the four Theme Parks. The photographer will give you Disney's PhotoPass card.
Present your card to the Disney's PhotoPass Photographer each time you have your picture taken to have all your pictures linked in one convenient personal online account.
Log on to www.DisneyPhotoPass.com, enter the ID number on the back of your Disney PhotoPass card and complete the online registration* to access your account. You can view and share your vacation memories at no charge once you've registered!

And as a special bonus, the Disney PhotoPass card is also redeemable for one 5x7 print plus shipping and handling fees, only redeemable online through www.DisneyPhotoPass.com. To redeem the print, visit www.DisneyPhotoPass.com, select your favorite image taken by a Disney's PhotoPass Photographer during your Walt Disney World® vacation, and enter the promotion code on your Disney's PhotoPass card in the Promotion Code field at checkout. The price of one 5 x 7 print will be removed from your order.
Terms: Registration on www.DisneyPhotoPass.com is separate from registration on disneyworld.com and required to redeem your Disney's PhotoPass certificate. Not valid for redemption in the photo pick up locations in the Theme Parks. Shipping credit applies only to one 5 x 7 print. If more than one photo is ordered, standard shipping and handling fees will be applied. Not valid for photos taken on attractions in the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks."

I'm not sure if this is offered to everyone or not, you might want to check with your AAA agent.

We booked two rooms through AAA for our trip last week and when we checked in, there was a piece of paper that had a code to get a free 5x7 pic after the trip taken through PhotoPass. We got one for each room. So, while PhotoPass is available to all park guests, the free 5x7 may only be a AAA thing.

I booked through AAA, so I guess I'll have to wait and see if I get the voucher upon check in. I'm getting really excited now. Less than one month to go.

I emailed my AAA travel agent and I believe that from her reply, we do get a free photopass photo with our AAA package. She talked about how you can order from home...and you get one. I'm pretty sure that she meant you get one picture free. I'll let you know next month when we get back.

The free photopass picture is an online booking promotion. If your TA books your trip online through the Disney travel agent website you will get the free photopass certificate. This is something that is fairly new.
