So I have lurked all of your trip reports for a LONG time now and I just had to comment after that video, me and my DH were on the floor laughing because unfortunately, we really do get enjoyment from train wrecks like that!!!! In fact, we would have most likely stayed and watched until it ended, whether that be by choice or force((from crew or just other disgusted cruise guests!!!)) LOL!!!

No need to lurk, I dont bite, not that hard at least . Ya we still seem to watch it over and over, everytime we put a different twist. Like I bet you he's a CEO of a huge company and just is letting loose. Or He's a paster of a church LMAO Anyhow welcome out of lurkdome.

E was out on the balcony yelling RUN FASTER. The neighbors next to us that we chat with each port started in on "GO GO GO" lol even though there was still tons of people coming and we had plenty of time to get back on. We laughed and waved. E had the cameras but ya think he would grab one to document our "close call" nope.

Yup- mine wouldn't have taken pics either...
Good to know Im not alone at least.

Once back on board, the boys went to get food, I went to get sail away drinks of the day. Todays beverage, the Mexican Mama (hey they named it after me!)

Sweetheart, I can't think of a person more deserving than you to have a drink named after them!
Glad it was a Mexican Mama and not a Pain in the *** drink LOL

Eventually they took their names and looks like they looked them up and let them back on. They got a rounding cheer and lots of yells of go buy a lanyard (or a necklace if your Ellen).

aww thanks. Were no McSparkelsons but were good enough for government work LOL. I told him not to get any ideas about becoming the walmart greeter cuz that sure aint going to pay for my DOTD habbit. Oh Believe me Girl Im already looking into retirement cruise planning!!!

Last Day Of Cruise....
April Fools (get it we sailed on the 1st of April LOL)​

Today started off a lil different as I woke up around 7am (see I can sleep in Ellen LOL) got ready and went to get a mochachino from the coffee bar..

I usually only visit them once on a ship, especially when I BMOK (Bring My Own Kahlua) but it was yummy. I have to give a point to Mickey here as even though Freddys barista skills were on point, the Cove Cafe that Mickey has gives free food.. where as everything yummy on Carni was extra. But I was in it for the coffee and it was delish, especially cuz it had whip cream and chocolate on top.. everything I usually dont get cuz Im watching the calories. But as we all know there are no calories on a vacation!

Once I had the caffine pumpen I walked the ship a bit and took some pics and watched as people went and chair hogged so early in the morning.. looked like they put their towels on them then went back to bed LOL.

Eventually I got hungry so I went and got some food from the buffet and enjoyed a quiet breakfast by myself.

Talk about carb overload

After my 12lb weight gain was over I went down to check on the troops and eventually got the boys up to hit the pool. E went to the gym (he was soo good this trip unlike how I said I would be)

Debated on weither to wear the hat or not but remember it was a tad windy on deck so opted not this time.. Plus was afraid it would take away from any part of me catching some rays.

I grabbed 2 chairs (yes I was a chair hog, but just momentarily) I wanted to be close to the pool to watch the boys but those were all gone. So closest we could get was a deck above the pool. Freddy wins here cuz we could never find check chairs on the Magic. Either a table in the shade or standing room only. I didnt think I would like the stadium seating but it does have its advantages.

Eventually the boys came back with some grub.

They even found E loading up on food just in time to direct him back to us.

I used my time wisely... to work on this trip report. See I may not show it now in my post and the lenghty time it takes for me TOO POST.. but I was diligently keeping notes...

Eventually we heard some commotion from the side of the ship and tons of people were looking over so I immediatly thought MAN OVER BOARD... no just a whale.. none of which I could capture on film so I took their word for it.

They had some trivia things shown on the Iron Man screen that E and I got into. While the boys played in the pool for a long while and made a new friend.

Later they had the ice carving demo.

If you guessed Nemo.. your wrong... an indian with a headress... E guessed it pretty quick I still didnt see it till they announced it. Probably cuz I was thinking wow you know how many ice cubes that can be for my DOTD?

After that they had the Mr & Mrs Freedom Competition. Where couples would have to do crazy stunts to be crowned Mr & Mrs, and of course get the coveted Ship on a Stick. The guys had to carry their ladies across an area... E said oh we would be out already... He was lucky we werent close to the railing or he would have gone overboard! Another thing they had to do was the guy do pushups while the lady is sitting on them. Dont worry I told E to shut it again here!

About now it was feeling like time for our 2nd meal so we went over to grab some snacks..

I never did make it to the fish and chips area or get some mongolian lines were always way to long.

The boys lil friend came back to see if they wanted to go to the arcade with him and his sister? Of course they did, so they went to change we told them to come back in about an hour as we told them $10 each to play with.
I figured there was no better time then the present to try out todays DOTD a Yellow Bird. Not sure what was in it as I had our waiter just bring it to me so all I could taste was OJ and Rum.. PERFECT!

Before long the boys were back, amazing how fast they can go thru $10. But it was perfect timing as we were getting ready to head back to the room as E and I had deceided to get a treat in the spa. They had a sea day deal going on, 50min massage and mini facial for relatively cheap... less than I would pay here in town .. or from a Groupon even LOL. $100 each. E and I arent ones that get massages regularly heck I think last one we got was on our Disney Cruise in 2008 LOL. So we were more than due for one. They had TONS of deals going on too, I want to say more than Mickey but I cant find my spa info I brought home so cant be sure.

The boys headed to there clubs. J was having another magic session then some art thing going on. P was having magic then some trivia. We dropped off J then went down one deck to the spa.. who thinks of putting the spa and the kids club so close, I dont get that. Granted we didnt hear anything but in order to walk down from the kids club if you dont take an elevator you walk right by the spa. Ya them kids do get a lil hyper describing the good ol times they had in Camp Carnival. Just saying Freddy..

E and I walked out an hour and half later feeling refreshed and relaxed. Ready for a nap LOL. I was already starting to peel a little on my shoulders so my gal gave me some exfoliating stuff as a sample to use in the shower. Then E walked out with some spa version of icey hot, as a sample to run on his shoulders for his "tention". WHAT tention is what I want to know. Im the one that booked everything, packed, etc. All he had to do was show up (and pay LOL) Anyways sorry for my rant, we never got any samples from our Disney Cabana massage so thanks Freddy you helped earn yourself a point. They did try and sell to us when we were leaving but we just said no thanks and walked away. (and no one ran after us for a tip either)

I headed back to the cabin to then clean up as it was "elegant" night again. I told the boys what they would be wearing their suits without the vest or jackets just shirts and ties, and funny how that got a woohoo, even from E lol! Once we were all spiffed up we made our way down to get some pics taken.

We ended up not liking any of the family ones but I got the boys to take this together and yes they are all wearing Cowboys ties.

This is what I looked like, see I clean up nice too.

Since it was elegant night the boys ate with us but asked that the food be rushed along so they could head back to their clubs. Thanks for wanting to spend a lil time with us boys.

J didnt get any steak like we thought he would instead opted for a burger. P had one also.

I of course had escargot my FAVORITE. I did find it to be overly oily but none the less some bread helped sop it all up.

No clue what it was that I had, all my notes say is delish...

The boys meals were brought out around the same time of our appitizers were, so once they were finished they got some dessert.

P was boring and just had vanilla ice cream (takes after his dad)

Thank god J takes after me cuz he got the chocolate lava cake

Soon after they ditched us to head back to the room to change. Then they were to come back to the dinning room so that I could go check J into his club. I really wish they would let a 13yr old check IN his sibling. Would help with my enjoyment of dinner time.

I got back just in time to order dessert and coffee. Im thinking dessert was pretty good...

Since we had time to kill before the 1st comedy show we went to check out some pics we took. Of course I had to boot leg the ones we didnt want.

Once I was done doing copyright enfringments we headed back to the room to change. Then headed over to the Punchliner comedy club. But we did do a walk by the 70's disco to see what P was up to at his dance.. again he was laughing having a great time with his friends, then saw us and gave us the look of death. Then did the head thing like get out of here, leave me alone. HA HA thats just part of my job kid its in the manual.. to embaress the crud out of you. (next time I will tell him it could be worse, I could be singing "Im to sexy for this ship" lol)

It was packed as usual. But found a table off to the side and left room for another couple to join us but apprently we must have stunk as no one sat down.. whatever.

A waiter came by and got our drink order.

a lil bacardi and coke for E (it was by no means little)

a lil Tokyo Tea for me (and they were by no means stingy with the alcohol here)

after the 2 comidian show, we went up to the serenity deck to relax and enjoy our last night on board.. ha ha got ya. Were on an 8night cruise so we have another whole day/night to go. It really was nice to think that too.

So we reminised a bit about the 1st few days

Then debated over rebooking onboard... .... ... (youll just have to wait and see LOL)

Finally when we were done making out, er I mean tired we went to pick up J from his club

After telling us he Watched Diary of a Wimpy kid then played flashlight tag. He deceided he needed a lil pizza to end the night so, off we went. On the lido deck they were showing.. wait for it, wait for it.. if you guessed Iron Man you are correct my friends. Now granted they did show the same movie over and over, but I have to say I dont remember Mickey playing anything other than Pirates of the caribean on Pirate night. Other than that it was just black screen or wave like cartoon motion on it. So I'll give Freddy a point for keeping us all entertained and on deck longer.

After catching the last few moments of the movie we headed back and waited for P to come in. After his disco night he ditched going to the show with his friends and they went to play basketball then some mini golf. Then went back to the club to play some video games. He rolled in about 1am.
But it was fine as we werent rolling into port till Noon tmrw, so we could sleep in we all wanted to.

I know I know I know... In my defesnce I did say I was going to "try" to get it done before the holidays. But when I say try you will come to learn it means nothing LOL. I tried to run a block this am to get back working out. I kept telling myself you can do it, its just a block, it will be over before you know it, and then by the time I was mentally ready I was at the end of the block. It went like this for about 5 more blocks till I finally said forget it. Im going home lol. Moral of the story I know how to psych people out LOL.

Ok but really it was busy. See the last day would have been up but we got busy see in October, I surprized E with Tickets to see his Cowgirls play my Rams in his homestate. I also got to see my BFF that just moved there in July so it was a good long weekend= lots of drinks!

The Next day E and I drove to Dallas (about an hr from Ft Worth where we stayed with my friend) to see the game.

Where of course we had to stop and watch his Cowgirls perform pregame

E got this wild idea to find tickets for the next day and go to the world series as it was playing (it was a St Louis, Texas weekend with the game and baseball) We didnt go though told him we can only afford one major sports outting a weekend err YEAR

Sadly I bought a frame for him to put on his desk at work, you think its of me and him .. nope he's got this one on his desk

Our seats... yup thats how we roll. Figured it was once in a lifetime on his bucketlist SO..

So after we get back Dallas, the next weekend we head to Las Vegas for the Marine Corps Ball. (I felt like El taking vacation after vacation, a girl could get used to this!)

So we got there on a Thursday had enough time to get a few drinks and then get ready for the ceramony. It was one of the best Balls that I have been to in 14yrs... maybe cuz I kept thinking this could be the LAST one IF E does retire... more bout that later

After that we hit the town for an after party at the Mandala Bay top of the strip

Call us old but we were ready for bed an hour later.. LOL but we had to keep up and show these young kids how its done

We headed back to the hotel later and met up with the CO and Major.. so we had to stop for more drinks with them.. then a lil gambling

We pretty much slept the next day away, then finally got up to see a show. I wanted to see Circe De Solie, E wanted Terry Fator... the puppet guy. We flipped a coin and he won.

After that we went to OLD Vegas, E had never been and I hadnt been since a kid so before they put the cover on. This is where he said he has seen it all lol..

Before we left across the street they were filming for the Foodnetwork Food Truck show so we walked over (ok I dragged E)

Lines were way to long tho for any food and it was semi cold so we just tried to get in the way of taping LOL

If that wasnt enough to keep me from writing, I also went to the Tim McGraw concert (SWOON)

Then this lil guy took up a lot of my time during December....

But now Im back. Im uploading our last day Nassau.. if you even care.. or for that matter remember who I am. lol Its ok I know I deserve it. But I will get this done before the anniversary of when we took off on this cruise.. no try about it I WILL! Thats what my New Years Resolution is to finish everything I started.. So far its only worked on the cheesecake, cookies, and bottles of wine LOL.

I have almost finished packing for Punta Cana (I'm there with girlfriends from Friday to Tuesday). It'a an AI called Majestic Elegance. Having a tough time packing because a week after I get home I'm going to Mexico with Pods for 6 days and I don't want to repeat outfits (for picture purposes, LOL, like anyone will TAKE my picture- I'll be too busy taking pics of all them!)....another AI called Iberostar Grand Paraiso. Janie is there right now with Kevvie and their son and his GF (they couldn't wait and go with us because the kids have to go back to college). Anyway, they say it's EXCELLENTE!

Are you originally from LV? I have never been there- seems weird, huh? I feel like everyone I know has been there- they keep telling me it's Disney for adults. I keep telling them DISNEY is Disney for adults!

Some people just don't get it....

I have almost finished packing for Punta Cana (I'm there with girlfriends from Friday to Tuesday). It'a an AI called Majestic Elegance. Having a tough time packing because a week after I get home I'm going to Mexico with Pods for 6 days and I don't want to repeat outfits (for picture purposes, LOL, like anyone will TAKE my picture- I'll be too busy taking pics of all them!)....another AI called Iberostar Grand Paraiso. Janie is there right now with Kevvie and their son and his GF (they couldn't wait and go with us because the kids have to go back to college). Anyway, they say it's EXCELLENTE!

Are you originally from LV? I have never been there- seems weird, huh? I feel like everyone I know has been there- they keep telling me it's Disney for adults. I keep telling them DISNEY is Disney for adults!

Hard Rock Hotel in Punta Cana is the Arbonne trip this year! it will be fun to see your pics! I'm not planning to go even though I will earn it, cuz we'll be in the middle of moving! Oh, and you have to visit LV after I get out there - it's a 4 hr drive for me then!

a DANGEROUS Mission for suncreen and stamps!​

So being I did not have any notes from here on out, I am gonna have to wing it, especially since its 9months later LOL.

Im guessing I woke up early as always ordered coffee; Danish’s and relaxed out on the balcony waiting for the troops to rise. We never did make it in time to any of the dining rooms to have breakfast or lunch so back to the buffet it was.

Since we weren’t getting to port till noon we had time to really relax and chew

All week the boys had wanted to play shuffle board but the poles were always checked out.

So today they were free and off we went

With no idea how to play, We just made up with our own rules.

Once we had enough of that (not more than 10mins LOL) The boys decided to play a game of chess. My kids only do extreme sports… snowboarding.. and CHESS…

A bit later we saw a ton of people looking out the sides of the ship, man overboard? Did another husband make fun of his wife? No Land HO

Don’t look too excited E just a beautiful island you’ve never been too.. calm yourself man.

Eventually we heard an announcement that we would be docking soon so we made our way back to the room to get changed and grab our stuff to make our way down to the dock… but seems there was a hold up. Looked out the balcony to see this

Never did find out what was wrong, hope everything was ok that’s always got to suck getting hurt on your vacation?
FINALLY we got the clearance and made our way down the stairs and on to Nassau land

I love offereing to take picks for people then they are nice enough to recipricate!

I knew the boys would love to do the Atlantis water slides so I booked a room at the Comfort Inn Nassau, the ship wanted $160-$180 a person, the Atlantis direct was even more. Comfort in a lil over $200 TOTAL thanks to a military discount, even without a military hook up with would have been cheaper! We grabbed a cab with a few other peeps that were doing the same thing. About 15mins later we checked into the Comfort got our wristbands for their resort (which btw from what we saw, pretty nice, and you get to enjoy most of the same amenity’s of Atlantis. If we were ever to go back for a weekend or something I would book there (but not like I will *EVER* go back there… more on that to come) and then walked across to Atlantis. Man is that place big too. I knew we needed to get a wristband for their resort/slides also, so we walked thru the gorgeous casino. I loved all the hand blown glass
