I am watching for SWA to open up there Nov. dates. Are the Ding fares better? Should I just book when the schedule opens or wait for Ding? Thanks in advance. Hope those fares open soon.

Well... DING is usually better that what the general available flights are going for. For example... out of Manchester, I booked DING for $125 rt with tax to Orlando for May and at that time that I booked the cheapest flight was $79 one way plus tax. Now of course they went on sale after that for similar prices but with a lot less availability so I would just figure out that if you can get a 'cheap' flight book it and watch for a cheaper one and just rebook a sale price/DING fare if you would be able to use a credit within the year. That is what we did for May and it worked really well. I think that it all depends on how flexible your dates and times are.

Ding seems to be better about 70 percent of the time, at least in our market (Chicago to Orlando).
