Good deal on a down or down alt. comforter?

Can someone point me to a great deal on a REALLY comfortable down or down alternative comforter? It doesn't have to be ultra-warm, but would really like ultra-comfy.

I bought one on clearance at Target and when I got it home it wasn't as soft as I had hoped, so it went back to the store. So, thought I would ask for help before trying again!

My favorite place for down anything is Overstock.com. I've bought duvets from there, and a separate cover (they seem to have a better selection than any brick-and-mortar store near me), and their down prices are the best I've seen.

Macy's if having a 25% off basically everything sale right now. If you order online the code is "macysff" and if you go in the store you should be able to print a coupon online or just ask the cashier for one. I don't have any recommendations for a specific comforter but the sale is pretty good.

We have bought from overstock but you never know what quality you are getting unless there are some reviews of the products. My husband loves Pacific Coast feather beds and pillows. We have never been disappointed with the quality. They run quite a few sales this time of year and sometimes you can find codes too!

I don't know about what deals are going on right now but we got ours from Kohls a few years ago. I love it, it's so comfy and lightweight and "poofy" but very warm. I love snuggling under it! Plus, it came in several colors so I didn't have to stick with white. You should be able to find a multitude of sales going on at Kohls right now! You can also order online and return to the store if you decide you don't like it. Now that I think about it, I did get mine online.

Pacific coast makes some good stuff... I have seen their stuff at cabelas, sears and or JC pennies. We bought on that was heavy, me sleeping hot and wife so,so, couldn't take the heat. we down grade and now the the wife is happy, I am happy and her cat is happy.

I got the same deal from Kohl's on black Friday - I got a king size one for the same price. Great deal and we LOVE it.

I got a Charter Club down that came with two down pillows that is ultra comfy last year from Macy's. It was a great deal, with a coupon I think it was $69 or soemthing. Worth checking out Macy's.

A note on some Overstock.com items - I purchased one of the comforters that was described as "Famous Maker" and when I received it, the tag said, "Made by Pacific Coast Feather for Eddie Bauer." Sometimes Overstock just isn't allowed to mention the brand. I read the reviews before making my purchases and I am thrilled with the comforter.

I bought one last year at Home Goods. It was for $50 for a queen size. It isn't super heavy, but keeps me warm (and I live in Boston and am ALWAYS cold). It has been washed a few times and has held up great.

I'll 2nd the Ikea one. I got mine for $60 about 5 or 6 years ago and it's still super warm. We keep our house at 63 at night and my husband is kicking the comforter off his top at night because his legs are so warm under it. They hold up super well with us, our cat and our son, who sits on it occasionally.
