What is the best way to tour all the sites to see the Christmas lights? I am very excited to see all of it, but just not sure which way is the most fun!??!? Any thoughts???? Thank you!!!
Golf cart you can control how fast or slow or even stop at each site. Sleigh rides are nice but it only goes to just a few loops. You only can drive your car to and from your camp site. If security sees you driving around or looping in your car they will stop you.
golf cart---but, if it is as cold as it was this past year take some blankets on the cart with you. and go down to get coffee or hot chocolate-the ride will be much more enjoyable.
Thank you for all the advice! A golf cart sounds so fun.... We are not staying the Fort, so I'm wondering is it feasible ( and worth it) to still get one for a couple hours of use? We are planning to go to HDDR before looking at all the awesome lights! I think my kids will absolutely love it!
You have to reserve the golf carts and you can pick it up anytime from 1pm on but it must be returned by 11am the next day. The cost is around $65 a day.

You have to plan really far ahead, but what we do is reserve a GC for one day like on Christmas and tours the sites once during the day and then after dinner at night.
Disney rely doesnt like people riding bikes at night thats one of the reasons they dont rent bikes for 24hrs. The OP stated they are not staying at the Fort also. Your best bet is just walk around if you dont want to spend the money for a cart. Most of the big displays are within walking distance of HDRR and marina
We saw a pretty neat idea last time we were at the fort. Two couples rented one of those four wheel, four person bicycles from the Wilderness lodge and peddaled it over to the fort and were looping. I have never driven or rode on one of those, but I would think with all four people peddaling, it would move pretty easy. Not sure of the cost or times of them. I'm sure someone here would know. the bike/walking trail is a nice senic ride/walk to boot
