Going to try WVL, can you give me some tips??

We are going to try and do a quick trip in November at the Wilderness Lodge Villas. I absolutely adore the resort, and I want to know of what areas to avoid or what views to request and I already know it's a total last minute trip so I really shouldn't expect much - but I just thought to ask!

Give me any and all tips you can! THANKS!!

The only thing I can think of is to request to be close to the elevator. If you are at the other end of the building, it is a long walk to get your mug refilled, or to get to the bus.

We had room 4517 (1BR) and it had a great view of the pool and the Lodge across from it. It is also right next to the elevators. You could hear a little noise from the elevators but not enough to be disturbing.

No trees in your view at VWL? Might as well ask for no water in the pool....one just doesn't work without the other!!

Magical Princess...I'd focus on smoking/non-smoking first if that's important to you. Then try for near the elevators. And maybe an upper floor. Yes it's late in the request game, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Just remember to list your requests in the order of priority to you.

And have a great trip. I'm holding back my envy quite well, don't you think? (big sigh).
